RE: Team losi LST2 Fuel tank Problemo
well i had the same problem and i replaced the fuel line from the exhaust to the tank in my aftershock and my jato and it did wonders and my aftershock actually had a pinhole leak right where the line from the exhaust connects to the tank but it also expands from the heat of the muffler also and it dont push enuff cuz of the heat of course expanding the fuel line . and you wanna hear about a nice collection listen to this one i call it my r.c. garage in my shed. traxxas tmaxx 2.5 , traxxas jato 2.5 , smartech magic wheel .15 mt , cen fun factor bg .15 , losi aftershock , electric rustlers (2) , electric stampedes (2) , electric traxxas rad 2 , 2 team losi mini-t's and oh yeah three control line airplanes . now thats a nice bunch . course mostly means there is always at least one or two with something broke but tons of fun course alot of hobby shops dont like it when you make your own parts like shock towers with about 40 mounting holes .

RE: Losi monster truck specs?
well i have an aftershock and a tmaxx and let me be the first to tell ya the aftershock is a lot easier to work on way more forgiven then the tmaxx but it can be picky with gettin the motor dialed in and the best advice i got was get a battery pack for the truck not double A batteries i killed my gas tank with the batteries and it always acted up with the batteries but it disappeared when i got the pack for it instead and the tires are about 8 inches around versus the tmaxx with 4 inches and oh yeah the tires take alot of abuse and when you drive it on pavement it even sounds like a big truck rolloing down thru but it is a gas hog too and the tank is bigger of course and also it will run longer then tmaxx and it handles the heat better then tmaxx and oh yeah the tmaxx get hot and stall alot where as my aftershock almost next to never stalls. i could use a whole tank of gas to get my tmaxx set up for racing but my aftershock is easier and the brakes are far better and the stock aftershock will toast the tmaxx's well the 2.5 tmaxx's anyway i haven't even seen the new 3.3 run but i heard it still can be beat by an aftershock . and as far as wheelies i heard the raminator is actually better for wheelies cuz they are a shorter wheelbase and i can only pull a wheelie on pavement and not in the grass. anything you wanna ask feel free to ask ok

RE: My aftershock
oh yeah by the way you can rebuild your pull start ive done it to mine about three times so far it's a pain but with gas prices where it is now its cheaper then runnin to a hobby shop and wastin dough on a new one just be careful and take it apart slowly cuz if the spring pops out it's a bigger pain ok

RE: My aftershock
my aftershock guves me a hell of a time startin too and i kno about your skippin with the pull rope too it sucks but try this one pull the fuel line off the carb and put your finger over the line and pull the pull rope til dont squirt hardly any fuel out of the exhaust and then hook the fuel line back up and it might avtually fire right up it works on mine 95% of the time also if it doesnt work pull off the air filter ( at an angle ) then pull the fuel off the exhaust and blow in it while watching in your carb it should fill up a little and pull the rope a little bit and you will see it actually suck i the fuel and then hookup your air filter back on put your glow plug ignitor on and try to start that could work too i learned that from t-maxx which really drove me nuts but it work pretty good for me any more questions message again on here ok

RE: Anyone Own An Aftershock?
yeah i have an aftershock and love it even tho it;s a pain too start but its the onlt truck i can run a full tank out of heck my tmaxx keeps dying on me half way thru but my aftershock takes jumps better and i have no problem with the arms i''ve bounce off a couple things but i suggest using battery packs in it not aa''s they suck and dont last long in it.
