uav pilot opportunity
My company is looking for UAV pilots. The work could be short or long term depending on many factors. The job requires travel in and outside the United States for extended periods of time. Experienced R/C pilots (5 years r/c, with 2 years giant scale, over 80"). US citizenship required. If interested please pm me. It is a great way to take a passion and turn it into a job. Are you up for the challenge?

RE: housefly vs other sub micro heli...need help
thanks for the help. i am looking at three different ones and trying to justify the difference in cost. the ones are the housefly...will not work with regular transmitter, the bumble bee by mia...works with futaba or what ever, can go brushless but the most expense by several hundreds of dollars, and last the heli-max rotofly...works with futaba but are you getting what you pay for in other words, to good to be true at around $300. looking for some more help to try and make a tough decision. chris

Need help giantscaleplanes corsair 75.5 what colors do they use
Thank you for the help and the ideas. At our club is a guy that works with the aero space museum in dulles and gives tours. he provided me with a great book and i have read through it. I was hoping someone knew the color they painted with when they made the arf. I am not the best at color matching and want to make it look good but does not need to be great. I got the model so i could particpate in our clubs warbird flying but not much more than that. It will not fly very scale with the engine i am putting in it and just trying to touch up some hanger rash. thanks for the help so far. chris

some help from the experts it worked for me
i called lite machines and they had some strange suggestion but he was right on when i looked at my set up. The first thing he said to check was the front tr gear to spur gear on main shaft alignment. mine was ok. the next won was the winner. Ckeck the main rotor hub and if you have over tighten the "jesus bolt" or the bolt through the hub it will have a small buldge underneath it and cause vibration. he reminded me that there should be about 10deg slope in the main rotor rotation to the shaft rotation. i hope this helps because that was my problem and no the vibration is minimal. once again a fix for less than $10 and about a 1/2 hour rebuid time. chris:stupid:

If it only increase a small amount than i will not do it, but if it is night and day difference then that sucker is cut in a heartbeat. Please help with this question. chris
