RE: how do you know if your cut off button is faulty?
STill having problems. Got the new spark plug in. 5t starts now but bogs heavily when throttled and then engine quits. Almost like a cold engine. However, I have reset the H and L speed needles to the factory settings(in fact i have never touched them). And let the engine idle for several minutes and still bogs and quits when throttle is applied. Any ideas?

RE: how do you know if your cut off button is faulty?
new one works, old one doesn't. not smart enough if it is something else.
ORIGINAL: RCguru09 Clean it and try it again. Plugs just don't go bad like that. Something is causing the problem?
2nd tank baja 5t
OK, So maybe i'm naive. The truck seems to have a lot of power with the stock pipe. Is there a significant difference w/ tuned pipes. Also, the manual talks about engine tuning. I am seeming to not have any problems where the needles are....again not speaking from experience w/ fuelies. Also, was jumping some pretty serious jumps. What is the limit these things will take? Also, back tires are spinning so fast that the truck is extremely hard to steer. Any suggestions there?

t-maxx 3.3 wiring question
I bought the traxxas wiring package for the rechargeable battery pack. However, I bought my battery from onlybatterypacks.com. So the charging recepticle is not the same. I know which lead goes to the reciever. However, i need to know whether to cut and solder the red or black lead to my new battery. I can modify the battery case to use the existing female(white) lead and charge the batts through it. images attached hopefully. I will leave the charging lead on the wiring pack inside the case.

Yes, probably going to keep it. What are the necessary hop ups. Traded 2500.00 of "work" for the truck. Not exactly a steal.

RE: big joe tire problem
I take good care an cleanup. I was specifically responding to taking out the tire foam and trimming it all around. i have no desire to do that because i'm not confident i can to it right...and if not done right it is a colossal waste of time and money to replace. THanks for the fly by though.
ORIGINAL: spoonrc Wow no time to check the screws etc? You will need to maintain nitro's, you can't just run them constantly and not clean em up! You will loose screws, strip gears, burn out pads and shoes. You gotta have time to go over the truck after runs. Its all about time. When I got my first nitro (cen nemesis) the only thing I broke was 3 wheel axles as they were so cheaply made. I have more nitro's now and the only thing I have broken since is one savag fuel tank when I landed on it from a big jump. And I have been doing 6ft jumps, crashed head on into a jato at like 30mph..But still nothing broken since. Just luck I guess.
RE: big joe tire problem
don't have that kind of time. was hoping maybe the seal was broken or something..btw it only happens on one side, perhaps the foam is bunched?? panties in a wad sort of thing?
ORIGINAL: cat samich my big joe 40 series on the e-maxx do the same thing. i took the foam out and cut it down a bit. made it thinner top to bottom rather than narrower side to side. problem solved.
