This is the first WW I metting , a few airplane , a few people , but with big hopes . The heat was deadly 42C , but we manage to stay alive on the field . I have problems with the engine , one start then the engine stops and it won t start again . After a few hours of hard attemt to start it again ( with a lot of advise from people ) I realised that the ignition acc was dead , I have tried to recarged but it was to late .

RE: Hansa Brandenburg D.1 1/4 Scale Arizona Laser Cut Kit
Hi Jeff , I am happy to see you here . I follow your thread , very big at 1/3 scale and I like it ! Thank you for your appreciation . The way you aproach the building it s very " healthy " . I must say that on the struts I have make it like yours on the central point , to make it in one nail . The top wing I make it in one piece . How do you think on the angle on this plane , wings , engine , elevator ? I think it s better not to give to wings more positive angle . I calculate like this - engine down cca-2 degres , top wing - neutral , down wing -positive angle -cca 1.5 degres and elevator neutral . I have put a DLE -32 , I hope to make it under 10 kg . Thank you George

RE: KMP's DC-3
ORIGINAL: 1 builder Hello cfv. The build is mostly straight forward. I haven't flown my DC yet. The biggest problem is the tailwheel/rudder assembly. So far I haven't come up with something that satifies me. When you build your DC start with that end. Good luck and let me know. 1 builder
I started work on mine for a few weeks, this is what i do for rudder ,the tailwwhell will be separeted with another servo. And I put lights on the wings!!!

RE: Nemesis 90
It weight 4400g,I have to reinforece the platform of the landing gear with plywood of a 1,5 mm.The original gear brea.k of on my first landing and I have to do another of fiberglass that work perfect.I have problems with the firewall, the engine just stops in the air and when I look at the mask she was move with the firewall!!!!!.Then I go inside the fuse and reinforce the firewall with epoxy.I don't know but it looks like it was never glue there! Now the model had more improvement,I move the CG back by moving the servo of the ruder, elevator and the accumulator for some 3d manuvers,it fly realy great with hover ,but on landing is very dificult,it make you think that fly on low speed then just rolling!Never do that! And on hard wind landing is much dificult,I have to work a lot with the engine.

RE: Anyone building schooners?
Yes I think CA is good but in some parts I need more time for aligne the pieces like in the image nr 7 from instruction manual. And to give more compact to the pieces.I have a friend who works with fiberglass and he advise me to use a resin like gelcoat that atack the surface of the ABS and is dry in almost 45 minutes. How many kg did you use on the hull?
