RE: Ultra LX COMP rtr= pros and cons
I would say this would be a good match for him. Durable and inespensive with fairly good components in my opinion. A lot of guys around these forums will tell him to buy something better etc. But... I think it is a deal for the money and it is easy to find parts and they are durable.

RE: Ultra LX COMP rtr= pros and cons
I have one and I like mine. I have changed the engine out but other than that is all stock. I like the buggy because it has been durable so far and I haven't had much broken. That being said what are you using it for??

RE: OS .21 Question
Thanks so much I wanted to be sure before I started putting the rest of the engine together and started to break it in. I was going to race tomorrow but I don't have enough time to break it in and get ready for the race so I am going to put it together and just watch tomorrow. I appreciate the help!!

OS .21 Question
Just go a new OS .21 and I am wondering if it okay to turn the carb around. The throttle hookup is on the wrong side as it is pictured. I am new at this and I think it should be okay but I want to make sure before I screw up my new engine!![image][/image]

RE: OFFICIAL Redcat Racing TRUCK thread
Would this truck be considered a Monster Truck at most tracks?? I am thinking of getting one but I don't know if this is a Monster Truck or not. At my local track they run Monster Truck and Monster Truck Unlimited which is like the truggy/ Hellfire 1/8 version. Thanks in advance

Front diff question
The front diff on my car got eaten up pretty bad by a bent front drive shaft. I am running an Ofna Ultra LX Comp if that helps. It seems that is what is making me not have turning in the front wheels. Thanks, Brad

RE: I need serious help PLEASE...
Ok so I drilled out the stipped screw but still wondering if they should both turn at the same time when you turn one by hand. Thanks!

I need serious help PLEASE...
Hey guys- I just got an Ofna Ultra LX Comp and the drive shaft is jacked up. the top screw that holds the receiver on the front drive train? I think that I am descriving this correctly is totally jacked up!! How do I get this stripped screw out. Anyone have any idea also the engine runs great but the tires don't move too fast so I think that the drive shaft is the problem.... Would it possible be both drive shafts?? Thanks for the help in advance to anyone that can help a newbie. another question... Shouldn't both drive shafts spin together if you spin one or the other by hand. If so how do you make this happen or what do I need to look for or tighten as it would seem to me??? Thanks again guys

RE: OFNA Buggy Thread
I just purchased the Ofna Ulrta LX Comp today. I am waiting for it to arrive. After reading this thread I got shafted but I am going to have fun with it and pretend that I got a good deal on a used one for 190... This is my first RC so hopefully it will be a good experience. Any advise on upgrades to start with???

RE: 10/buggy performance
Is this the truck version?? I am trying to decide what to get and would like to see what the truck looks like hopped up. I am also looking to see the 1/8 buggy hopped up if anyone has any of that. I am looking to race at the local track here in my area.(TX) I am wondering if these will be competitive against the higher priced buggies and trucks.

RE: "OFFICIAL" Redcat Racing 1/8th BUGGY thread (not truck thread)
Hello guys new to the forum and the world of RC's. I am wondering if there is anyone on here (as I have read there are dealers on here) that knows what I can expect to get for say 299-220 bucks in the way of the 1:8 buggy or am I too low on my budget?? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance and look forward to posting with you guys about these things.
