I got one last week, and we took it out on the weekend for the first time, it was great! i ran 2x 4s 2200 mAh packs, and it was pretty fast.... im wondering though, will the esc and motor be able to handle 2x 5s 2600 mAh lipo's?? i wanna order a couple to try em out, but if the esc cant handle it i wont bother.... i know it wont do 6S, but will it do 5S? Alpha parts in Nova p5x???
Hi guys, I need to rebuild my Novarossi P5X, namely a new piston and sleeve.... i see they are about 150.00 US, and am wondering if i can run the ALPHA F850 piston and sleeve in the P5X.... as it is a 5 port sleeve, and the bore and stroke are the same. the reason im asking is i can get the set for 75.00US.... let me know what you guys think? ginnz. Novarossi p5X Parts?
ok guys, earlier i asked around for a p5x piston.... well it looks like i'll need the kit, as just a piston isnt the answer. where can i get the Piston/Cyl. liner/ and Con Rod for the best price?? all i can find is A-Main, and they want around 180.00 for the kit. is there any place i can get a better deal? hey guys! i picked up a different buggy in a trade, to add to my collection! the rc10's, and my Ofna Ultra Comp LX..... for a bit, i felt my Ultra Comp was fast.... then i got this thing. its an absolute monster! handles superb, and jumps like nothing out there!!!! my newest in the collection is....... a 2009 XRAY 808 with a modded Navarossi .21 P5X! can you say, SNAPPY! hahahaaaa..... i love it! heres a few pics!

i know exactly what you mean. the part has a "Flare" on it instead of the original being straight..... i used a dremel and used a "cone"shape stone to ream out the wheel to fit. it was an easy fix.

oh man... you guys are nuts..... :-) hahahhaaa. my buddy got a really used RC10GT on ebay, it has an XTM 24-7 in it, its absolutely retardedly overpowered, the first day out he stripped the tranny, we fixed that, he cant keep from flipping the car. its way too much, but alot of fun. the guy who did it, made a motor mount out of a thick aluminum sheet. id suggest a .21 of some sort, ive seen motor mounts for them somewhere. ill look around and see if i can find em. here are some pics of one of my RC10GT's.... its running a AE .15, its goes like heck, i really like it. also, note the rear shock tower..... i was having some problems with bending it, as the aluminum one is very soft, i had some spare pieces of 3mm carbon fiber that i was making heli frames from, so i cut out a piece to go on the back side of the tower, i bonded them together with some Great Planes glue, now its super stiff, and i can keep the aluminum bling factor..... ;-) also, I won some one off cnc'd aluminum wheels off ebay last week, they look super slick, ill put them on, and im looking for a full roll cage for it as well.... then it'll be complete. hope you like.
