2nd Tamiya Raffle - Tank Museum
For all those that have asked us to start the raffle early - here you go! The Tank Museum is holding another raffle for a 1/16th RC Tamiya full option kit - every tank will be available including the KV-2 but excluding the Leopard. The winner will be able to pick the tank of his/her choice and shipping to US ground points will be included in the ticket along with a TBU unit. For those tankers that live outside the US you will still be able to purchase a ticket and if you are the winner you will be required to purchase postage for any amount above $30 - example if the winner is from Canada and it cost $50 to send the kit you would have to purchase an additional $20 for shipping. Tickets will be $20 each with only 50 tickets sold and the drawing will be held live on RC Universe, Armornuts and HEAT when the 50 tickets are sold. Stanley D. was the winner of our last raffle. The raffle button is presently available @ http://www.aaftankmuseum.com/RC%20Tank%20Kits.htm Good Luck!

RE: AAF Tank Museum first Raffle winner
Stanley choose the KV-1 tank as winner of the raffle. I do not believe he is a member of any forum, but as soon as I get a picture of him and/or his new tank we will post it on our website. Look for the next raffle to start around November 1st - It will be the same deal as last time - your choice of 1/16 scale full option Tamiya rc tank ( EXCEPT THE LEOPARD) US ground shipping and battle unit included. For those that would like to enter the drawing, but live outside the US ground shipping, $30 will be put aside for shipping any amount over that you can pay if you are the winner of the raffle if you decide to participate. Thanks to all that supported the raffle! Karen & Natasha

AAF Tank Museum first Raffle winner
First the Tank Museum would like to thank all of you that purchased a raffle ticket for a 1/16th scale Tamiya RC tank of your choice (except the leopard), battle unit and shipping to your destination is included. We will be having another raffle sometime in November so stay tune. All 50 tickets are in the bucket and Natasha is stirring them up – she is stirring and stirring and stirring – I am going to ask Douglas (the museum’s resident RC tank guru and battlefield coordinator) to pick the winning ticket. He is reaching into the bucket, stirring the tickets around some more, and the winner is STANLEY DOMASZEWICZ !!!!!!!!! of Chicago, IL Congratulations - Stanley

RE: FYI - AAF Tank Museum has a raffle going on
The Tank Museum has just added an add to cart button for the raffle tank. We had Paypal, but they almost immediately noticed that it was for a raffle and request that we take it off, or our account would be closed. Of course we complied, and have been looking at another way to sell the raffle tickets without the inconvienence of having to call the museum. Well, I think we found it. If interested go to http://www.aaftankmuseum.com/RC%20Tank%20Kits.htm and click on the add to cart button and you will be directed to an authorized network account to make payment. If you want more than one ticket just change the quantity and you are good to go. The only thing you may have a problem with is the customer number ( just put in 4 random numbers). One Tamiya 1/16th scale RC tank is going to find a new home shortly! Good luck everyone. Only 10 tickets left and when they are gone I will be picking the winner live on RC Universe, HEAT and Armornuts. Karen

RE: Tamiya price differences
Your best bet is to go to the Tamiya site - search for the vehicle you are looking for and up pops a picture and some detail pictures underneath. Of course sometimes a picture is not worth a thousand words, but it will give you a better idea on the vehicle. Girltankette

RE: Here's a Deal...
21st century is out of business - I carried a wide varity of 21st Century armoured items at our Museum - 21st Century was bought out and the new company is not telling their sales reps what products they will carry. As of June 30th 21st Century items will be rare. This product was a great seller and we will miss having them in our gift shop. Karen/Girltankette

RE: TAMIYA KV-2
At this point in time we do not know even if tamiya will be releasing a KV-2 ( anyways that is what my US tamiya Rep says - He has not heard anything about the KV-2, which is not surprising as one side of the world does not know what the other side is doing). My rep is suppose to be looking into it and as soon as I hear I will post. girltankette PS: Hope every one that is building the KV-1
