RE: anyone tried this ?
Your right it is a soft coating. But it is the same material that RPM uses. Just like tool companies use on their handles. Again yes they will break just like RPMS break. But it will add a little protection, also so color. Anyway this is just something I stumbled across. I will post some pics when I do it to a couple of my A-arms. Prolly this weekend I will give it a shot. I will prolly do the front and rear dogbones also, just to give it some color. i don't care about the weight for I am just a club racer and basher.

RE: anyone tried this ?
Funny. I might be trying that rubber coating stuff on my side rails. I just snapped the left rear side rail today bye the gas tank. I ran my truck up a tree to do a back flip off of it and it landed on the back rear tire and snap.

RE: anyone tried this ?
Yes i agree. But I already have 4 sets of stockers. I personally like the lst2 A-arms very solid, just looking to do something with them to make them tougher. I think it would work great plus you could add some color to them other than just blue or black.

RE: Temp gun
Yes I do tune by performance and smoke. I also was going to use the 10 degrees math. I just like to have a gun to be on the safe side do to all the jumping and racing I do at our club track. I put a good size crack in my exhaust pipe and didn't notice it until the damn thing puked on me. Temps went sky high and my temp gun was reading all kinds of degrees. I really didn't notice anything wrong with the truck as far as smoke or performance just kept on racing. I just notice the temp gun was off a little when I put it over some boiling water it was at least 10 degrees off (water boils at 212 degrees). Anyway thanks for the reply.

RE: Has anyone tried this on the lst2
I just have not been to Amain for awhile now and was just checking some things out today. And I saw this set up. I put in the search Lst2 and this set up was on the first page. There is a Flywheel that comes with this set up, but your probrably right with having to do some mod or something. I might check this one out just to see for myself. Later and Thanks.

RE: Broke my Aftershock :(
ORIGINAL: dakamat Clutch bearing, on a 2 speed truck like the LST should be change very often. I order a bunch of bearing at AVID RC, 1.00$ each, and i change them each 1/2 gallon. Or, you can put a third bearing on your clutch bell, and the bearing will last long time. But for $1.00 each, i change them often[;)]
I have seen the 3 bearing set up where. Do you remember how it is done? Don't you need the ofna shimes set or something like that.

All I can say is WOW. I don't know why I waited so long. I guess it is because the 427 ran great for me. But what a difference this thing makes. You all were taking about its power and you were right. Now some one is talking about the Big Red .28 these motors just keep getting better and better. Can't wait to hit the track next weekend. Every one their will crap when they see the difference. I will keep you all posted come next weekend. No one at the track i go to runs a Losi . They all have Savys or Traxxas.

RE: Green slime?
Yup that is what I am talking about. Hobby town is over priced on just about everything. So that is why I order everything online. Just can't see to support a company that I don't like.

RE: Green slime?
You have to pay the hazmat fee of $20.00 on top of your shipping cost which is $30.00 roughly . I bought a case of byron's from Amain for 77.00 so your looking at 130.00 for a case (4gallons). Just call Amain or who ever you are going to order form and ask what the hazmat fee is. It goes up and down.

RE: LST XXL Transmission Problem??
When I get a new truck I always tear it down and completely to loctite metal to metal. Also it gets you very familiar with your new Truck. Trust me it sounds like a lot of work but is worth it.

RE: LST XXL What Sizes of Allen Wrenches?
Same here HELL no with the junkie(integy) I use losi with some Associated also. Love the Losi but use Associated because Losi's handles are a little big for the tight places.

RE: mt noob needs help.
Some times you can't hear it shift. (shifts smoothly) First try starting out slow raising the rpms slowly , sometimes you can hear it shift that way. Or put it up on some blocks so the wheels can spin freely. (don't do it alot though) If still no shift it could be the adjustment or the tuning. First try the screws , then see if it will shift. Then try re-tuning. Could be on the rich side, it won't shift if it can't hit the rpms it needs to shift. try it out and let us know. Can you post a video of your AFT running? O yeah I don't have a AFT but you might want to think about upgrading the whole gear system to the Lst2. I remember people say the gear hub in the AFT is made poorly compared to the lst2.

RE: Green slime?
Reason for for asking, is because I would have to order it from A-main. Which is not a problem since I am sure I will be ordering from them sometime soon I am sure. I will not ever go to my lhb (hobby town USA in Toledo) I can not stand the service in that place. A bunch of young cocky aes. Plus over priced. I was getting my fuel from them($39.00) a gallon. Ordered a case from A-main and saved $50.00 No brainer in my book. Since I was going to re-seal everything I just wondered if I could pick some up, some were else. The reason for the slime is it will help seal the needles better. Just like anything else you use o-rings for. they should be sealed with something. I did not know or think you could use vaseline on these o-rings or not. Thanks for the reply but I will probably just order the green slime.
