RE: need a wing tube
I must be doing something wrong. I googled carbon fiber wing tube and nothing came up in 17mm I seen 15,18,20 and 22. I then tried to narrow the search by asking for carbon fiber wing tube 17mm 76" long. Nothing.

RE: need a wing tube
ORIGINAL: JollyPopper Hey Irish, I guess I don't understand the problem fully. I googled ''17mm carbon fiber tube'' and got 100,000 returns. Many places are selling 17mm carbon fiber tubing up to 76 inches long. What am I not grasping here?
WOW!!! I have been doing searches for 2 days. The closest I have come is happypeople who advertises that they can make any size. The only reply from them was yes we can. I ask the to send me an invoice so I could pay for it. silence on their end. I don't think I googled but I used bing to search. I certainly will do a google. Hummmm,,,, sounds like some kind of dance. I appreciate your answer. Let you know how I make out.

Thanks to all. Brian, I printed out the manual, thank you. John, your figures came out the same as the manual. I will remember that technique when at the field. It did come out very tail heavy. The plane weights 4#, 6oz about was the manual calls for. I figure if I put the 4cell lipo about 2" in front of the prop it will balance out OK.[:'(][:(][:D]

Don't believe the CG point. Need help
Trying to balance my dualsky extra 260. These are the figures I put in the calculator. root cord=15", tip cord=9.5". sweep distant=5.5", half span=24" and I entered 25% MAC. It tells me the CG is 5.66" @ the root cord. I think that is to far back and I am afraid it is going to be tail heavy. What do you think. I was supposed to add the ailerons in the calculation wasn't I.
ORIGINAL: acerc All the arguing over needing one or not needs to be put a side. Some people need just a little assistance. Whether it be the reflexes aren't what they use to be, or orientation, or sight. Nothing wrong with a little help. That being said, I would recommend an Eagle Tree Guardian. Put it on a switch and in 3D mode one can fly normal with a little bit of assistance and when one gets into trouble flip the switch to 2D mode and it will return the aircraft to straight and level flight, dissorientation over! Resume normal flight!
2nd that. I,m 76 and can't run the 100 in 10 flat anymore. Eyes need a little help, so why not get a little help for my planes so I can enjoy the hobby also.

Sullivan Gene, If you can send me something that would show what part I need for the twist on cap. Then I can order some of them. It does not show in the cermark web site. Rained like crazy here a few minutes ago, probably the aftermath of the OK weather.
