RE: Spook short kit available?
heres my 96" spook .i used a magnum 70 FS
ORIGINAL: mahoo Is the Spook 96" size available as a short kit? I have the plans from one manufacture, but would love to find some laser cut parts. What modern engine would be good for this? I'm thinking 4 stroke if the air frame can withstand the vibration. Mitch
RE: my latest old timer
well i got to maiden the mini spook this last weekend and all went well. the plane did display a lot of glitching which got worse with each flight, but i used a cheap motor and reciever, so I ordered some top drawer stuff to try. The plane flew real nice just like the big one!

RE: my latest old timer
It has an Aurora 400T out runner motor, 8X6 apc eprop, TP 1900/2100 3S batteries, CC phoenix 25 esc. 26 oz RTF weight. gws naro 6ch rec, gws bb micro servos. the plane is one oz less than the minimum the 2002 technology would allow when it was designed. it balances in the same place with or without the battery.
ORIGINAL: evan-RCU How about some specs Larry, motor battery weight etc

Nice looking bird! You can get some good deals with the "old fashion" type of electric but the new brush-less and lipo will save a lot of weight.
