RE: tunning question
I've read your post. Which fuel does the elusive fuelman make. Maybe neither of you know what the heck you are talking about. I want to make sure I never buy his fuel. You two seem to be the only ones spreading that infection around this site. I want to know why the two of you so firmly believe this and all of the manufacturers tell everybody the exact opposie. Now remember, I am talking about this rich=bad thing, not the rest of your "guide." Now be careful here, you are talking to a guy who builds, rebuilds, repairs and inspects engines for a living and knows just a little bit about the engineering that goes into building this stuff. Let me ask you this, what is your professional background. Lean=hot, hot=bad.

RE: Jammin JP3 pipe runs REALLY HOT!!??
ORIGINAL: Werk-It How are you measuring the temps? If you're using IR, then it's likely just a difference in emissivity.
Agreed, I think you are all right to a point. What Werk-it is trying to say is that the different alloys transfer heat (emit) at different rates. Seeing a higher temp on the pipe probably means that the alloy of the JP-3 is letting the heat transfer at a higher rate making the pipe hotter. That being said, the type of pipe you are changing to, in this case the JP-3, can change the tune of your engine slightly, changing the temp you are seeing at the glow plug until you adjust to suit your temp needs. I am also running a JP-3 pipe. I haven't noticed any significant changes in performance over the Hyper pipe I was running on my CRT. [:D]

RE: tunning question
Apollo...get a freakin clue man. I have to agree with Jet over and over again. You are misleading tons of people on here. STOP IT!!! Dave...please don't listen to this guy...listen to the people that built the engine. They have engineers figuring this stuff out...not some punk trying to maliciously harm other peoples investments. BELIEVE THE ENGINEERS!!!

RE: What engine
ORIGINAL: Kemo racernine has officially retired. The best place to go is www.stsmicroengines.com
Sad to hear! They have very good customer service. I copied this from their site: FINAL SALE OF STS ENGINES Racernine.com is ending it's run selling STS engines. As we run out of stock on engines we will remove them from our site. HURRY and get the engine you want. The price you see is the price you get, please do not ask for sale prices, they are already on sale prices.
