RE: Good sim for low price?
http://www.simblaster.com/servlet/StoreFront There is a link to a $40 sim and cable. I learned to fly with FMS and a homemade cable and a Blade CP.[:o] It is not the best or easiest way,but it is cheap. But thinking that it can be done is funny. When you are ready to do it right, come back and see me. Bring $700.[:D]

RE: (LONG READ!!)Why start off with fixed pitch?? Beginners dilemma...
Perhaps ypu should start out with a "90". The bigger they are,the easier they are to fly. You will notice that pilots learning to fly full size seldom crash.

RE: Power Supply Specs for the Prop-Peak Prodigy II Charger
The charger can draw up to 6 amps. A 4 amp power supply would limit the maximum charge rate to about 3.5 amps.

RE: Single Stick Transmitter
Fly left handed. I often fly my AP heli left handed and use my right to control the camera. Use little finger on collective and index finger on cyclic. Works best if you use a transmitter tray or a table.

RE: Effectiveness of my Deans Plugs
I thought a proper connection required mechanical strength, for example, a crimp to take the strain and solder to provide electrical conductivity. Therefore Dean's connectors are not the best for the job. Maybe something like Anderson Power Poles would be better. Just a thought.
