RE: Lst xxl Wheel's on a Savage XL
ORIGINAL: Ricksta  I think I've found some hex adaptors but every site I look on doesn't tell you what size they are. are they 20mm? has anyone used these before? are all 420 rims 20mm or 17mm? <img alt='''' src=''http://xpresshobby.com/mas_assets/full/LOSB3518.jpg'' />
420 rim is 20mm hex hub.

RE: My new ride ~ GST 7.7
ORIGINAL: dustin7837 Yes, those are the correct parts to do the conversion. I broke my Genesis (old version of GST) plastic front shaft the very first day I had it. All it takes is a hard landing with some throttle and it just snapped :( How are you liking the GST compared to the LST so far?
Haha , I would say both are good truck. GST is biggest , high tourque engine , 3 speed , 4WS option & more adjustable on a-arm....etc. LST XXL speed is fatster & better handling . Haha , I would say both are good truck.

RE: My new ride ~ GST 7.7
ORIGINAL: dustin7837 Fun trucks! Good job on the pics. A lot of people (and hobby shops) badmouth CEN because of their lack of customer service, but the GST is an awesome unit. Just make sure to spend a few minutes checking all of the screws and linkage. If you are having major tuning issues, search here for the check valve mod. I'm not sure if the newer engines have the same issues as the old ones. For spare parts, you will want a set of A arms (all 4 corners are the same), and you will likely want A NEMESIS steel front drive shaft and yokes as the GST plastic one isn't too tough. Oh, and a spare axle shaft (swingarm?) but CEN did upgrade them mid production on the GST so the newer ones are pretty good. Eventually... you may want a stronger steering servo / dual steering servo mod. These things are really heavy, and really tough. I'm sure you will enjoy it.
Very useful information , Thank you for your advice.

RE: My Losi TEN-T
ORIGINAL: Doxiedad That looks very nice. I've been thinking about a 1/8 buggy but this is tempting. How are your impressions after driving it? Overall good quality?
My little impressions: - stock 3.4 engine is so powerful , top speed & low end also amazing. - dx3s telemetery quite useful & control distance can over 100m. - good steering response & easy to drive - easy start engine Out of the box, I full check all screws & found the right side of steering bellcrank screw hole alredy worn out. After playing 20 tanks oil, still have no broken parts, because of i'm not a serious basher. [:D]

RE: Official HPI Hellfire Thread
ORIGINAL: 3130pembroke use hot bodies brake outdrive cups- way stronger I had to machine them down a near the base, seemed to bind a little when the top plate was tightened down You can get a whole center diff complete for $20 off ebay from a HB D8T- also the HB D8t 101 mm drive shaft assembly work also in the rear, much lighter. I use them on the front also with the Xray xtra long outdrive cups. If anyone gives a crap I have been running vspec .21 with a HB D8T 13 clutch and 50T spur- Even with the extra weight of this truck it is an excellent combo for racing
Noted & thanks.
