RE: Used AutoCad
try making some complex fuse without the solid model from a solid model you can get a former/rib/weight at any point you want. 2d is ok for most of the airplanes as long as the fuse does not have any complex curves

Eddie, I don't know if you want to keep pushing the subject and ask for reasonable reply Obviously some people can't see past thair ego and can't write a sentence without bragging about how well they are doing for themselves and how the rest of the people are just stupid. Sad part is most of the time they don't represent anything of themselves and this is the only way they can feel good Save your energy

Tez bud keep getting riped off by eBay all you want I don't give a hoot I won't let the door hit me, no worries there , there are 100 other places I can do my bussinesses and don't have to come across unpleasant people like yourself.

No one here argued that Tez is not smart or does not know what he is doing, so far he is the one calling everyone dumb for paying higher fees. I suggest you get off your high horse because no matter how much you glorify it, it does not take a genius to sell stuff on eBay but it takes hard work. And yes I have every right to have my opinion on eBay, and any other service.

RE: help me deal with this guy!!!
Taz don't you think you make to many assumptions at how much I make and that you are making lot more. As an engineer and a part owner of a business I have been very comfortable last several years I like the comfort and stability of working for someone and insurance is very nice, I let my investments do the rest Don't underestimate other people you don't know anything about. And if you are so fly why worry about a phone bill to go the length I just get unlimited everything and don't worry about it. I see you point about trying to correct people about unrealistic fee numbers claimed here but in the process you end up boasting about yourself more then talking about facts, I told you my last sale and the pilot posted his and all you said in so many words was how dumb we are for paying what was charged and how great you are for creating so many bussinesses and such , while typing on a computer that I had small part in creating, how is that for a boast lol

Man that sucks that you have to sweat the small stuff Tez lol. Some things in life I don't want to think and do a spreadsheet about, Just get what feels good at the time and if I am not happy I change it to my liking You must have one he'll of a spreadsheet for all the little stuff and waist your time on it I look at life differently I have as much fun as I can while I can and let guys like you sweat the small stuff By the way I can make your head spin with some of the stuff I can do with a spreadsheet As far as eBay is concerned I think they are charging more for their service then I am willing to pay And don't need to sit there for an hour and figure out how to save a %, my hourly rate is more that Cheers

RE: help me deal with this guy!!!
No one would have any issues with Taz if he didn't freak out about peoples opinions about eBay. He was trying to feverishly prove to everyone that eBay is the greatest thing ever. By doing this he created even more deslike for eBay for me, It does not mean a thing in the great skim of things but this blog gave me more reason to stay away from selling on eBay I don't need to give away 13% of my money and feel good about it. eBay is a business and can charge whatever they want for their services and I can choose to use it or not and have my opinion without someone trying to jam it up my throat

Taz, You sound like a cheap talking head for eBay lol, bragging how you made 7 figures on eBay so everyone has to admire you. Sound like an 11 year old. Maybe your screaming is the reason you get to only pay 8% on your eBay fees. My last sale on eBay was for 650$ and I got 561.59 by the time it got to the bank so do the math if you can. I forgot only you are smart the rest of the people are dumb

Sure you may be some guys that sell plans or some custom builders but other then that not much else is there.

RE: The 800-pound gorilla sitting in the corner
Mike, Until you started attacking everyone on this post I had similar views as you. I think flying model airplanes and having talent to do it great has nothing to do with whatever happened. As long as his involvement in the team does not endanger anyone there should be no issue. I know that what happened is very serious and unpleasant and if proven guilty is non-excusable . It is no one’s business what is happening in his privet life as long as there is no danger to other modelers. But then Mike comes out and starts stomping everyone’s opinions on the matter making him worse then the people who he is accusing of mudslinging . You are slinging the most mud man. This is a discussion board and everyone has the same right to think whatever they want.

RE: What would you want from a profile desing?
I mean just for fun, I am a member of the www.t h e pr ofile bro therhood.com and I know that there are lots of good designs out there... every time there is a kit or an arf review we see lots of small mods that people make to make it better. I have a list of items that I have done before and like in a plane 1. removable wings woth carbon tube 2. Last design I hid the servos in the profile fuse in the aft section of the plane to keep it from getting it oily 3. I like a small servo by the engine ect.... I think everyone has a little cool thing they do on thair planes and maybe would like to share it here.

What would you want from a profile desing?
If we could have a direct say in the design of a profile plane what would be some of the items you would want or add. I am burned out on some of my other builds so I want to build a profile plane for fun flying. I have a Saito52, YS63 and an OS 72? to use I want to use the Saito 52 so I guess I need to make it very light. Let see what are some items you would like to see in a plane

i got the molds done and got some parts done I will post some pictures soon, the tooling layer came out great and the whole thing is good only I had little issue with releasing the plugs. damaged the plugs to get them out. how do you wax and pva the plug? I put on 3-4 layers of wax ( one min dry time and buff on each layer) after 4 coats i let dry for 30 min and spray pva. Let the pva dry for 1 hour and start layup

Been sending all evening, there is one spot on the plug that paint does not cure so i had to get it off again and sprayed a light coat it has been cold here so i dont know if that may have something to do with it

I watched your builds on rcgroups very cool items. I have a cnc cutter at home so if you need anything cut let me know. I have couple more questions before I go into making the mold. 1. when you paint the tooling coat and wait until tacky i assume you mix new batch for the next coats or heating the epoxy make it setup faster maybe? 2.when you say spray flowing coat of PVA what is this mean and how many coats do you spray. thank you
