lipdaddy you start a diesel engine by raising and lowering compression with adjustable compression screw. You can find more information on diesels, by going to rc universe forum on engines and than clicking on everything diesel. Harris

supertuner1 For diesel engines, I have gotten diesel heads for existing glow moters at; davisdieseldevelopment.com they have heads for different size O.S. and Super Tigre engines Harris

I don't understand why tower doesn't make a RTR alligator and one without radio or moter. That would give modelers a lot more options equipment wise. electric version with brushless moter would be a lot more beginner friendly. Since i love Diesel I will be converting the gator to diesel and than it will run cooler and be less noisey. Harris

got an avion from radio shack recently for $19.95 In the avion box was an order blank for an add on landing gear for the avion. So i ordered it. Has anyone else done this? Harris

I am thinking of converting My aqua craft alligator to Diesel Power. I put a P.A.W. 036 diesel moter on the back of Dumas little swamp buggy and it worked great. MY reason would be because Diesels run cooler and and more quiet than glow engines, So should be ideal for pusher operation. Has anyone else thought of doing this? Harris

I have had the aero ace bipe, the avion, the aero ace jet, I have found by far the best outdoor flyer under $40.00 for me is the Revell Piloto with Fm radio. It is a smooth flyer and flys even better if you cut off the bottom wing

I know have 2 of these revel pilotos. I like them because they come with FM radio so you can fly them indoors and out with no problem they are very durable. fly similar to the avion. with better radio than the avion. Of all the planes I have given to beginners to try this plane was the easiest to learn on. My secound one gets about 8 minites flight time

My favorite is the new revell piloto I like it better than my nanno hawk ,avion and Ptu because it has a nice FM radio ans comes with the wings reinforced and is very durable.
