RE: Savage XL antenna in or out?
Back in 7/5/08 a member by the the name of (youie) posted this mod and pics of it. ( Not having a secure method such as using the plastic tube is very risky itself. I have for over two years used a net curtain spring through which the antenna is fed and the spring mounts perfectly into a aluminium tube holder. Before risking driving my savage using this method, I thoroughly checked the range of the standard tube method by placing it on a stand and walking some distance away and then did exactly the same test using the net curtain spring and there was absolutely no affect on the range. The great thing is the antenna stays protected and the spring effect returns the antenna back to the upright position. Before anyone sceptical about this, then all you need to is try it because the spring is very cheap to purchase and you can cut the equivalent of four out of it. You can buy them at Home furnishing stores and curtain shops are probably your best bet. The proper name for Net Curtains is 'VOILE' and thats the name they might be under at a store.) Pics are of (youie)s ride. (Hope this helps for this subject) P.S. It works great by the way.

Reversed polarity happened to my Nephew and He fried his switch and blowup his hump pack. With out regaurd for his safety He unplug the hump pack and throw it in the empty sink and it went off like a 1/2 stick off TNT ...Some of it hit him in the face but he is fine. (No blood) (Could have been worse if he did not take the hump pack out because he did have a full tank of nitro) BOOM BOOM !! Here is the hump pack

Welcome home TxRoadRunner ! For that kind of cash you can get better servos with better torque and speed. RE: Chevrolet Tahoe/Suburban Body
ORIGINAL: JuiceMT2 Can someone point me in the right direction for these bodies?
Check the 1/8 scale bodys on tower. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0095p?FVPROFIL=&FVSEARCH=1%2F8+BODYS+++&search=Go You could also check the web sites of Parma,Proline,Hpi,or ebay for bodys. Parma makes a 2004 F-150 body. Hope this helps you in your search for that new lid.

RE: How do you stop the brake screws from coming loose?
The zip tie trick works it holds better than new. I cut a strip that is no thicker than a toothpic and a little longer than the depth of the hole, this way the zip tie doesnt get pushed in under the screw but stays next to the screw. Then put the screw in and tighten it and its like new.

RE: iam i to old at 29
Im 34 and have been both skateboarding 28 years and into the r/c hobby for 6 years now and its great. My wife gives me moral support for me and all my hobbys and I do the same for her and the hobbys she does. We have 3 kids 4 cats 1 dog and a snake and they all like the excitement that goes on around this house too.lol If your Girlfriend / Wife does not give you moral support for you and your hobbys , then the relationship is not going to work. Love , Trust , Support is key in any relationship. This is just my opinion and hope it helps you with your question like some other guys said ,, (tell her to get a hobby) Crocheting or something. Then when she is doing that, tell her how old she is to be doing that and see how she feels. lol

RE: What to get???
ofna throttle mod fuelfilter hpi wheelie bar hpi aluminum tuned pipe That all for about $100. Give or take where you get parts. Hope this helps you,its your call though. lol P.S. Get some foam that has adhesive on one side and cut it down to fit inbetween the tank and tvp.Put the adhesive side on tvp or tankThis way the foam helps the tank from hitting the tvp hard and cracking. It helps trust me. lol
