RE: The Lounge: Version 4.0
ORIGINAL: Eman77 He loves that stuff (WWII and others). He has several of the models that you put together with no glue, just a screw or three and snap together sort of (he's not ready for the really detailed, glue ones yet...neither am I). Recently got him an A-10 by Revell that's a snap together, something like this: http://www.revell.com/model-kits/snaptite/85-1380.html It's a little smaller than his other ones (those are made by another brand - Smithsonian EZ Build?, and maybe 1/72?), but you get the idea. He's got that FW190, B-29, B-17, Fokker DR1, a P-40, and probably another I'm forgetting. My other son has a P-51, Spitfire, and a few others. Neat stuff! 1/24 Wildcat would be awesome. How big of a wingspan is that? Gotta be like 20+'', right?
Awesome sounds like me when I was younger, I loved the snap together models. Whoops made a mistake it was 1/48, it's actually quite tiny. I am going super detailed on this one trying to take my time, will take some nice photos when I am done. Actually have a Revell 1/48 F4 Phantom II kit still NIB and probably 10 Revell car kits ha ha. Oh well, it's good for the winter!
ORIGINAL: Eman77
ORIGINAL: The Hedgehog Hmmmmm http://www.top-flite.com/airplanes/topa0706.html
My son recently got an (easy snap together) model of that plane. I like it!
That's cool does your son like to do that stuff with you? Funny enough I am putting together a small plastic model right now. A Tamiya 1/24 scale I believe F4F Wildcat. Taking my time though
ORIGINAL: FahrtAutoRC Not saying it is a bad car, just not really worth doing such a big job to as swapping entire tranny configurations ;)
I could say the same thing about your bike since I have no interest in whatever that is, but I figure people like that sort of thing so I wouldn't tell them it's worthless to do. Just a fun side project of mine, just about a grand or 2 in parts and my own time on the weekends.

RE: The Lounge: Version 4.0
And I am thinking it might be easier with RWD because you cvan just order a driveshaft to any size and easy to install I believe trannies like the T56 is used in other branded cars too (maybe viper if I am thinking correctly?)

RE: The Lounge: Version 4.0
ORIGINAL: Lunchboxer That would require a lot of work I am sure, since Toyota did not offer a manual w/ the V6... Or maybe it did, I forgot.. need to check the Camry side of thing.. for sure there were no manual Avalon.. ha.. I even got a column shifter and bench seat, yo!! [:D]
Yeah I was definitely kidding. I am still considering a 6 speed swap into my Lincoln in the future. Stock Lincoln with a 6 speed gearbox right here..... So if I go into a Nissan dealership the salesman is going to be like, "Here we have the prestigious Nissan GTR, with the slapstick transmission, or better known as slap shift." LOL I would fall down laughing.

If you bump up your budget the HPI Vorza is an awesome vehicle. It gets the most runtime out of all my R/C's. Been running it on 6 cell for over a year now and haven't had a single thing break, and I have been doing some pretty stupid things [8D]

RE: Black Ops 2 Vs Halo 4
Oh PC Elitists [:D] Saying playing a game on a console is not much fun is just...... oh nevermind. I actually heard some people like to play with a controller on consoles over PC gaming sometime, crazy I know. I just bought a new PC, but I still prefer console gaming over PC, even though my Steam library is way too full right now. I prefer PC gaming for stuff like Civ 5, Total War Series, and titles that have been obviously gimped for console port like Dragon Age series.

I just ordered all the lines and will be replacing them next weekend. Love the way the Lincoln drives, fast and comfy and with my spring conversion kit, it handles really well.

RE: The Lounge: Version 4.0
ORIGINAL: Lunchboxer How did you find out? Step on the brake and nothing? And you see some leak? Or?
Yeah I could tell there was not enough pressure in the pedal, then I noticed it was leaking. Oh well, once they are all replaced next weekend I won't have to worry about those, surprising how rusty they can get.
