thanks for the help, i just checked the tail belt and gears and none are stripped. i went flying today and again the tail randomly now and then jerks all of a sudden our to the right it happened twice in a flight of 10 minutes, also when i start doing more complex faster flying the tail seems very jerky i think you are right and my gyro setup could be wrong?? Could someone please explain how to properly setup a Align gp 750 gyro and ds 520 tail servo with a Dx7 transmitter please. right now i have it setup on the Gyro sense auto at 62% on the Dx7

hi guys well i will be flying along and all in fine when all of a sudden the tail just for no reason jerks violently to the right it jerks the heli about 90 degrees to the right it did it while i was about to land and i almost crashed. I am using an Align gp 750 gyro with a ds 520 tail servo and i have a Dx7 radio. thanks for any help

Yes i use after run oil after every use although when i removed the plug quite a bit of water came out could it really rust i mean i used after run oil and i kept the boat indoors for 6 months? so must i take the engine apart or somethintg?

my boat wont start
i have a thundercat 31 nitro boat and i cant get the engine to start. i havent used it in about 6 months and yesterday i went down to the river to use it and it would not start! when i use the electric starter the engine acts as if it is water locked so i removed the spark plug and it looks as if the engine is dry but it still acts as if it is water locked and it simply wont start what do i do? please help!

Problem solved i took it back to the shop and we compared it to another one and my one did not have a switch! defective anyway the shop replaced it for me so now ive got a new one. I have flown it about 5 times and i must say it flys very nicely much more stable than i first thought. [:D]

What helicopter is it? Yes open the canopy and check the gears as this might be the cause of your problem same thing happened to me a few times and it was the gears that made my helicopter shake

hi well my thundercat seems to lose it top end speed i dont know why? its like it will go at its full speed for a while then it wont and then it will sometimes go at its full speed it just doesnt seem to hold its top end speed? the guy at my lhs said i must do a hydro tune to it for a bit of money he said he would do it? im confused whats the problem

please would someone explain how the heck i use after run oil as i have been running my boat about 6 times and i just bought after run oil today so how do i use it? also i sprayed the whole engine in dw-40 is it ok or should i just stick to the after run oil?

Just got my brand new Thundercat 31!
well i just got a brand new thundercT 31 and all i can say is wow!!!!!![:D] its a great boat. i broke in the engine then took her up to full speed and it handled very nicely. but i am a total noobie to rc nitro boats so any help suggestions maintence help on this boat would be appreaciated. also any upgrades i should do to this boat?? also whats this hydro lock thingy?? i heard it can break your engine so im a bit scared how do i avoid this?

well i found a 2nd hand deal on a thundercat spoke to the guy and he said its in perfect condition and runs great. i am going to go see it tommorow its a bit cheaper than new or is it better just to buy a new thindercat? is a thundercat a good boat?????i dont know anything about it?

well i live like right next to a huge river and have been boating and jet sking all my life! and i have never started with rc boats dont ask me why though so thought i would make a serious investment and buy a rc boat that will last a long time. I have been flying rc helicopters for a few years and really enjoy it but i also want to get a rc boat to enjoy in the river. i know alomost nothing about rc boats but i am willing to learn. i want to get a boat though that will last me a looooong time and one that i will not outgrow! so do you think i can just start nitro???is nitro boats better than electric? what boat should i buy then i have no idea but am open to all suggestions i need a good solid boat nothing over the top or too expensive and what else in general should i need to know asbout rc boats??? thanks for the help!!! -Jon

mg 65 have to agree no better choice tried them unfortuntly had a really nasty crash then switched to tower pro sg90 very cheap but nice. futaba is nice on the tail and also tried a hitch 81 hs before works pretty good but now its the align ds 520 tail servo all the way great servo! anyway hope my 2 cents helps...

sorry just another question i heard like on a 2200mah battery you mustnt charge it higher than 1c right? so if you charge it lower than 1c does it improve the batterties life so does that mean i put in it to charge at like 1100mah instead of 2200mah on the charge can i do this?
