I just ordered mine from precision heli..... ($$$ ow! [;)] ) I'll add my .02 when I get it, and start into the assembly. [8D]
Thanks for the links cwrr5. Looks like double stick tape to attach the two servos together and then hot glue for attaching the servos assembly to the frame is the recommended method. The instructions recommend this also.

RE: Micron FP anyone have an opinion?
I'm not too crazy on how the servos have to mount. They have to be mounted one on top of the other and mounted to the frame on the point where the tail boom slides into the main frame. There is only a small flat surface to install these on with not much contact area. There seems to be a few recommended ways to mount these. One is use thin double stick tape to mount the servos to each other and then hot glue the servo assembly to the frame. Another is to use the thin servo tape to secure the servo assembly to the frame. And another is to attach the servos to each other with the thin double stick tape and then wrap some clear tape around the servo assembly and then CA this assembly to the frame. This method seems the best because I think it secures the servos better than hot glue and the double stick tape and allows the servos to still be separated from the frame because of the clear tape between them and the CA on the frame. Just have to make sure both servos are aligned properly to the swash links and also make sure not to get CA into the servos.

RE: Micron FP anyone have an opinion?
The Micron is a very nice kit but keep in mind it is not a beginner heli. If you have never flown a single rotor rc heli before buying this kit as your first one may frustrate you out of the heli rc hobby. Typically the smaller the rc heli the more difficult it is to fly. My coaxial rc helis are very easy for me to fly. My nitro fueled Kyosho Nexus 30 heli was easier to fly than any single rotor micro heli that I have (Esky Honeybee CP2, Heli-max Rotofly). I have flown many coaxial helis but have yet to really fly a single rotor heli well. But I have lowered expectations for myself and enjoy the building and setup of the kits. So I expect to assemble this kit rather quickly but it may be a long time before I get it to fly nicely. But with all that in mind as far as the quality and design of the Micron FP kit it is very good but a bit pricey in cost for a fixed pitch heli. Here are is a picture of my Micron FP Complete kit w/o TX...
I have both the Esky Lama 2 and the Walkera #10. The Lama 2 is more stable and does fly better but I also like the Walkera #10 because it is bigger and handles a light wind better. If you had to choose to buy only one I would probably recommend the Esky Lama 2 or Blade CX. But if you want another larger coaxial heli I would say the Walkera #53 (wich is the updated #10) is worth it.

As far as I know it is a Walkera #10 with some upgraded parts such as different blades, metal outer drive shaft instead of carbon fiber, new frame with better cooling for motors, different battery holder. Same electronics and same motors.

RE: Micron FP anyone have an opinion?
I just bought the Micron FP Complete ARF kit w/o the TX. The parts look very well made and of very good quality. One thing for sure you will need a magnifying glass and good lighting to assemble because the parts are very small. The heli comes about 75% assembled. The main frame, motor, main drive, and rotor head are all assembed. The tail and tail motor are all assembled. You need to assemble and mount the flybar and rotors. The tail needs to be installed on the main frame and the tail motor wires connected. This kit came with 2 BlueArrow servos and BlueArrow electronics (3in1 mixer, and a 4ch receiver) so they have to be mounted. The servo linkages need to be cut to length, the ends bent, and assembled at build and are not adjustable. You cut and mount them to make the swashplate level and then trim the heli with the TX trim for final flight adjustment. If you cut too much, or bend it wrong, you can buy music wire to try again. Motor wires will need to be soldered, the servo wires already have the connectors on them. The battery wires have a connector already on it. The battery charger charges 2 or 3 cell LiPos or LiIos at .25A - .65A but you need to supply 12V DC or a AC/DC adapter for it. The clear canopy needs to be trimmed and painted. It comes with decals. You will need to supply your own servo tape and rubber bands. You will need to add your own receiver crystal, for this kit, or buy one from them. It comes with the full kit with the TX. The instruction and assembly manual is pretty detailed. The intructions are for a full assembly of the heli. Then of course the next question is if I can get it flying based on my limited single rotor rc heli experience. I will definitely need to build some training gear for it. It still is seems a bit pricy for a non-brushless FP heli but considering it's sub micro size, and quality of parts, I would say it is worth the $239 for this kit. For $90 you can get a bare bones heli ARF kit with motor. And for $270 you get a complete ARF kit with electronics and TX. All in all looks like a nice kit and I hope to find time to assemble it soon.

RE: HBCP2 CG?
The heli should balance with COG right inline with the main shaft. Use your battery position in the battery holder to get it close to center. An airplane radio will not work with the HB CP2. You need to use a radio that can be setup for Heli CCPM swash mixing. The blades should be snug but not too tight where they can not center when spooling up. I adjust mine so they move a little when you flick them with your finger but the do not move if you just tilt the heli in your hand.

RE: Blade CX Problem
These definitely sound like battery issues. I would check battery voltage before and after a charge and a flight. Should be around 8.4 volts fully charged and no less than 6.4 when discharged. Just be very very careful not to short the battery leads.

RE: E-SKY LAMA 2 THREAD
A few people have replaced their Lama 2 "4in1" with the one for the Blade BCX and have had less yaw drift problems. Only change I think is need to swap one of the motor wirings and swap rx crystal.

RE: E-SKY LAMA 2 THREAD
Many people have minimizzed their yaw drift on their BCX by cutting openings in the canopy so the "4in1" controller gets more air flow to keep it cool. I wonder if this would help in the Lama 2. The bubble canopy is pretty closed up and maybe opening it up a bit to cool the "4in1" would help the drift. Of course the test would be to first fly it without the canopy on to see if the gyro controls it better then.

RE: E-SKY LAMA 2 THREAD
The general consensus seems to be that the yaw drift is due to heat problems with the controller. Also piezo gyros will tend to drift. My BCX does hold the drift better than my Lama 2. I may replace the "4in1" comtroller in my Lama with one from the BCX. Several people have said this helps the drift in the Lama. As far as blade twisting goes I just twist them by hand and do not heat them up first. But I have found they do not twist that much and may not retain the twist for long. I was trying to stop yaw drift by twisting the blades but never had much success with that, and it only seems to last for a flight or two. Now I only twist one of the bottom blades when I want to adjust tracking in the bottom rotor. For the top rotor you just need to adjust the flybar link for tracking and do not need to twist the blades.

RE: E-SKY LAMA 2 THREAD
Yes, the pot is a proportional motor adjustment to control yaw. Make sure to power the "4in1" controller off, if it isn't off already, and than on again in order for it to see the pot adjustment.

RE: Radioshack micro heli thing
If you want a small inexpensive heli but one that is more of a hobby quality rc than a toy. Take a look at the E-Sky Lama 2 or the E-Flite Blade CX. Both are coaxial 4 channel RTF helis for under $200. They are stable and easy to learn to fly and are good for indoor flight and outdoor if it is very calm. Anything under $100 will be a toy but that doesn't mean it can not be fun.

RE: Radioshack micro heli thing
The Bladerunner is an inexpensive 3 channel coaxial rotor rc heli. Can be found typically for around $70 or even less on ebay. Has throttle, rudder, and pitch control. though the forward and backward flight are quite slow. It's more a toy than a hobby quality rc heli but it is fun to fly indoors and does not need much room to fly. I think it has more potential than the Spin Blade which is a 2 channel rc.
