RE: 4th gen A-10 by Mibo jets
Guys.. last weekend i have one turbine failure after full flap and open langing gear.. a few minutes before landing.. Ofcourse when i noticed that i was scared.. but one p160 can carry the A10 with full flap, all weapons.. with 100% of power... the landing was perfect.. I didn't do that, but as the jet is very slow and with 100% in one side.. you will need some rudder .. is not big deal.. I recommended if someone have a turbine failure don't use full flap just half.. i didn't try.. but i think will be better.. The worst part is the seconds that you are with one turbine and didn't know.. i always go with half power with full flaps and gear down.. with that power the jet fly very well.. and after do that, i noticed the jet almost stoped in the air.. them i supose that i lose one engine and go full power..but i could have a stall and crash it... this is the difficult. RE: 4th gen A-10 by Mibo jets
Mark My A10 has more or less 61 pounds dry. I will try to check ir again to confirm that. I am using the olg gear in the nose and the new behotec in the back. I have to change the springs for a hard one in the back ((the standart dont handle the weight of the jet dry) The gears is ok, just when i open it the nose usually need a few seconds to open.. but open everytime (until now). Maybe because i am using an air regulator.. Heraldo

Stan If you have to use so much elevator need to be trimmed up do you think you can use the CG back a litle? or maybe the 165mm has to be measure from the leading edge of the wing root and not from the extended part. regards
