Losi Muggy and no fuel to the carb?
Ok so i traded for a Losi Muggy with 427 engine with rotostart...for the life of of me it will not get fuel to the carb...the engine has plenty of pinch at the flywheel and is really hard to turn over so I know it has good compression..It has new fuel lines new gasket at engine/header and between header and pipe..I have blown through the fuel tubing from exhaust to tank and it will prime....fuel flows great into the carb...have blown from exhaust outlet ie stinger and fuel flows great into the carb...have swapped out known working exhaust and tank from another truck and still no fuel to the carb ..yes im holding finger over exhaust...I have no clue...the engine will fire if i blow fuel into the carb but dies after it uses whats there and will not pull any on its on from tank...I am at a lost...have never had this happen Thanks in advance if you could help me...

Am I crazy
ok have a savage 5.9 i just bought has roto start back plate and guy gave me the wand to use in a drill...from the back of the engine which direction do i rotate the wand...clockwise or counterclock wise...i know this will be opposite of the front of the engine which i thought all nitro engines run from looking at them forward ie the carb side they .....go counterclockwise but when i tried to start it with the wand and drill it would only turn over if made drill turn it counterclockwise which makes it run clockwise.....i need help if it makes sense to ya.....Semper Fi!

Needle falling out?
I am a new owner of a used savage ss....the problem is i ran it today for first time and what I guess u would call the mid range needle from the carb came out....i replaced the o rings on it and it still has no resistance when i screw it in ...dont know what is wrong...and help would be great

Im a new owner of a Losi Aftershock...I do have previous experience with T-maxxs but my question is what is going on with the silver and black axles and the silver and black wheel nuts. Is there a difference besides just the color..Im a little confused. Thanks for your help in advance....

I recently purchased a stadium truck which has a Dynamite 1700 nimh rx battery and has bec connector that connects to on/off switch and to the rx...Im in need of the cheapest charger that will charge this rx battery....overnight is ok..i purchased an ofna charger but it has a futuba j connector so it wont work? im a little confused at this point...thanks in advance

Need help with first buggy please
I purchased a Losi 8 buggy RTR..everything is good..but I have serveral questions..the Z270 throttle servo doesnt work....should I replace with the same or? Couple of shocks are leaking bad...what do I need to do to fix this? And finally ..sorry... even thought the buggy is like new it was sitting and the carb boot on the Mach 427 is torn..looks perhaps like the return spring had rubbed on it but Im wondering where to get a new boot since I know this its not good to run it with a torn carb boot...Thanks

I have the opportunity to buy a Losi 8 buggy that has just been broken in RTR with spectrum radio? Its $200.00 and the owner claims only thing wrong is that the throttle servo keeps going out? Any advice would be great..Thanks

ok now take a good look at the spur gear...the big black plastic gear..(prob 72 tooth) that comes off the transmission and has a spring and a nut on it...take a good look at the teeth and see if they are intact... if they are rounded off...the small metal gear..ie clutch bell will not be able to turn the spur gear which in turns your transmission and will prevent it from going forward or backward...just what im thinking and is most common thing I can think of when it wont move forward or backwards...

yeah i posted pics of it on the rcu general discussion board to help me identify what it was..It was identified as a .12 novarossi top engine.. It has a ton of compression and fires right up and is crazy fast on the Ad2...I had to learn what it was cause i wasnt sure if it was good or not since Ive never had an engine like this...and was worried since it was a trade out item..Im really happy and impressed with it...traded a duratrax warhead for it that I got for $20.00 and I love the Losi...I wanted something different cause I already have a T Maxx 3.3 so no need for 2 MTs..and the Warhead was heck to work on....but anyway yes I love this .12 top engine it rocks..Semper Fi

t maxx clutch question??
Due to my Tmaxx stalling when i brake.. I removed and inspected the cluth assembly. The spring and shoes are intact but I noticed that with one of the clutch shoe holes i could see part of the spring...it makes it a little hard to install on the flywheel pegs..should I replace the shoes or is this acceptable or might lead to it shutting down when the brakes are applied..The spring still sits well below the edge of the shoes but I dont remember ever seeing part of the spring before through one of the mounting holes of one shoe?? I received a Losi xxx nt Ad2 in trade a few weeks back. I just wanted to comment how awesome the Novarossi Top .12 that came with the truck. Ive never owned anything but some old Kyosho Ultimas and Traxxas products till now, but man this truck is a rocket ship with that engine. Ive owned about 4 T maxxs....to make it short and sweet my t maxx with fresh batteries and two different servos(stock and Hitec 625) will turn to the left out of the blue..i live in the sticks with no chance glitch from outside sources...stock Traxxas radio ..I will be going wide open and it just turns to the left out of the blue..Its bout a year old and never had this happen before..just started doing this. The 3.3 runs great and having another problem with it shutting down at even the hint of brake. Ive set my gap in carb for idle..1mm checked to make sure it holds true when i give it brake and pulled bell housing to check clutch shoes spring was intact...it is...Any help would be great..Im not new to this hobby but man these problems make it hard to have fun..ie cant use brakes..and truck suddenly turns left and flips out of control...Thanks for any advice.....Semper Fi

I have to agree with this. Seems lately there a lot of high priced used rc vehicles and equipment on RCU. I live in a small town and scan Craigslist all the time for deals and some do come along but man some of the listings on Craigslist are insane. I sold cars for 7 some odd years and its like dealing with people who wanna trade in the old one and want what they paid new 2 yrs ago? Nothing wrong with making a profit but as someone else stated when I go to sell my rc stuff I price it fairly and for it to sell, usually so I can get the cash for something I have my eye on. I have had a xxx buggy broken for a while I think its just original xxx buggy no special kind. Well I want to fix it and I need one stop shopping for a front A-arm and a standard steering servo to fix it. Anyone know who might carry this part and a cheap servo to fit it so I can just run it around again...Thanks in advance Keith
