RE: 1/5 Scale Rampage model differences
I have the XT and the MT and while the XT is cheaper it needs a lot of upgrades to be considered durable. The MT-V3 in my opinion would be the better option because it is much tougher and needs fewer upgrades. [8D]

RE: redcat rampage xt vs Maverick blackout mt ?
Since it is your first, start out with either the XT or XB because they are reasonably priced and upgrades are now available for them. [8D]

RE: HPI 4WD Baja 5SC. SAY WHAT?
Personally i feel 1/5 scales should be Gassers and not electric. HPI has to come extremely good to compete with the Losi 5t because it looks real good and Losi has a reputation of making solid vehicles....just my 2 cents. [8D]

RE: Whats the best basher truck money can buy?
Hey listen, Alpine....you will continue to hear many, many good and sometimes not so good reviews on different type of vehicles which may confuse you.If You desire a 4wd start out not so expensive as the MCD but maybe get a Rampage (upgraded version) and hop up as needed. Start out small and then work yourself up. [sm=thumbup.gif][sm=thumbup.gif]

RE: Whats the best basher truck money can buy?
Ok guys....currently have a 5T, MCD Baja & Fg Sportline Cat Race Truck. I used to have a FG Stadium Truck and 5B which i sold. The most reliable one for me has been the 5T/5B because they rarely break parts and parts availabilty and also hop-ups is great. I had nothing but problems with the Fg Stadium truck and the MCD Baja has had many issues in fact it has been parked for awhile but however 4wd in my opinion is much nicer. My advice is to get your feet wet in largescale with the "5T "[sm=thumbup.gif][sm=thumbup.gif]

RE: hot bodies gtx2
I had one once and i agree that those .26 motors are not that good at all in terms of performance and also the plastic carbs are lousy. I advise you to get some aluminum arms because the plastic ones really flex alot under the load.Anyway i sold mine to a friend and he discarded the .26 motors and got 2 LRP .28's with JP4 pipes and that monster pulls tires from the rim even beadlocks. Gasoline with 10% Ethanol
First let me take this time to wish all & family a happy and prosperous New Year. [sm=thumbup.gif][sm=thumbup.gif][sm=thumbup.gif] I live in Jamaica and recently the Government introduced this new gasoline that has 10% ethanol in it and i would like to know if this would harm the 2 stroke engines that we use in our R/C vehicles ??

RE: Today with the xxl.
Well i had to change the plug right away because it would start and when i removed the igniter it would stall. i put in an OS#8 plug and problem solved....Believe it or not one of the clutch shoes broke in half during the 3rd tank of break-in under rich conditions !!! Anyway other than that everything was ok and the truck runs great...i am happy with the performance and the truck truly hauls. [:D][:D][:D]
