RE: Discharge voltage of A123 packs
a 2A discharge down to 2.1V per cell (4.2V total for a 2S pack) took out 2043mAh from the pack.

RE: Heating Oil as fuel
Here in Israel Kerosene (at the car's gas station) is called "Neft" which is translated to OIL in English (the black stuff you dig from the ground at arab countries). The heating oil is also called "Neft" - i wonder if its really the same. Theyre both named exactly the same (at least here), and i reckon they smell similar also. besides, my home oven that burns this stuff doesnt smoke.

RE: Discharge voltage of A123 packs
ORIGINAL: c_makhija Hi 3dm, Most good chargers like the schulze will automatically discharge the pack to the minimum voltage once you select the battery type and cell count. I do not remember the minimum voltage for A123s for a 2s pack, but if you want i could discharge a 2s A123 pack on my schulze and let you know the minimum voltage. Chaitanya.
Yes i know that, but i was asking because: 1. i want to know what others think. 2. i wanted to cross reference what others think, with the automatic discharge voltage that can be seen on most chargers.

RE: Discharge voltage of A123 packs
Chris, So in case i want to perform a periodic (seasonal) discharge and cycle, in order to avoid a misbalance of the cells or other ill effects in my pack (since i usually charge it after taking out 500mah or so as an Rx pack), you would recommend going down to 2.1V per cell ?

I believe Pablo's T-45 doesnt use cheater holes since his fan is in a full enclosed ducting.

RE: New full 3d capable Eurosport
ORIGINAL: u4eake Normally one of these should be on its way to me now. I have a P160 old slow version, would it be possible to use it or would it be too slow ?
You would be able to use it, but it would help to have faster acceleration in some manuvers.
