RE: Gremlin Motor choice
I've flown mine with a o.s 32 which did pretty well, and I tried it with a y.s 45 which ripped it around but added alot of weight

RE: Parkzone NEW BRUSHLESS (YES!!!) P-51 Mustang RTF and BNF
Pretty simple to install, comes in a tricycle set. Used GWS wheels and a dubro plastic tail wheel. The retracts are mounted to 1/4"spruce blocks 2" long using 2-56 bolts and blind nuts. Added weight is about 90g. Removed the old motor and added a turnigy 3536 brushless motor with a 40amp esc. The first link is for the retracts and the second is the motor upgrade. http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=7701&Product_Name=Micro_Pneumatic_Retract_Landing-gear_set http://cgi.ebay.com/Parkzone-P-51BL-400-watt-power-plant-upgrade-115-MPH_W0QQitemZ350221661928QQcmdZViewItemQQptZRadio_Control_Parts_Accessories?hash=item518ad676e8&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

Found a used o.s 37 heli engine, be here in a few days. What would be the best choice for a muffler, leaning towards a mac tune pipe.

engine to use on outlaw
Just ordered a extreme flight outlaw and was wondering what engine to use. I have a Y.S 45 rear exhaust but was wondering if it would add to much weight.

I made a few more flight with mine last night, put a 2200 zippy pack in it and had no trim changes due to the heavier battery. Half way finished with the retract install. Will post pic's later when I have it all done

Picked mine up tonight after work, charged the battery, bind it to my dx7 and got one flight before the sun went down. All I can say is freaking sweet man, just wish it came with retracts.

RE: 2009 WARBIRD RACING DATES - WEST COAST
I scratch built it from a set of ziroli plans. The paint scheme is off of the Gulfhawk 4 Bear cat, I just got tried of taping and didn't do the two pin stripes down the fuselage. This will be my first race down there but from what I've been told it should be in the silver class if I get the engine broke in in time

RE: Northstar mods - Tell me what you think
Got a little more work done tonight. Built a sliding tray for the servo like predmech setup. Cut out the hatch to access the fuel lines. Had to put filler around the hatch to fill in the balsa that was removed when I cut the door out, getting closer. RE: Northstar mods - Tell me what you think
Almost have the cowl done, just have to wait for the filler the dry so I can finish sanding. All that's left is building the tray for the throttle and elevator, mount the servos, glass the bottom and add weight to get the c.g right and I'll be ready for covering
