RE: savage XL or Tmaxx 3.3(4908)
IMO I wouldn't. You would be going from a truck known for bashing to a truck known for breaking. my .02

RE: Anyone Own a RT-X 27?
I used my stock pipe but shortened the header by about 1/2 to 1 inch and it made a world of difference on the Wasp. I like how it doesnt wheelie but pulls like its mind's gone bad.

RE: Anyone Own a RT-X 27?
Exact time depends on driving style. I drive for a couple hours each time and I still rarely charge it. Its been left on overnight and it still runs like a champ.

I have the 1600 and it lasts pretty long. I know I get a couple sessions out of it before it's charged.

stock seals would leak, even on stock engine. swapped to 28 and used these seals and have never looked back.

RE: Anyone Own a RT-X 27?
I mistakenly quoted that my gaskets were Ofna but they're HPI .21 purple and they fit the stock pipe perfectly. As far as steering servo, I still use the stock with a 1600 nimh 5cell hump and I have no complaints. It may be due to the radio change as I can adjust throw of servo.

RE: Anyone Own a RT-X 27?
Hey all. I've checked this post out a few times and well, here's my 2 cents. I have a RT-X 27 with an Orion Was .28. I've ran this engine for about 2 months now and in this truck it's a perfect marriage. I know after tearing down diffs that they will need to be replaced soon. (pinion is knife-edged) I use the super-pooper pipe and i think ofna exhaust gaskets. (purple) They work perfectly. I used a savage .25 flywheel and the rt's 15t pinion and it's a beast. If I can get my wife to stay off the phone long enough maybe I can get a good video without her gossiping in it[:D]. Any questions feel free to ask. Have fun.
