I'd guess you'd get 10 minutes MAX going slow or just idleing, and 5 minutes on WOT the whole time. the best place to ask questions would be from the guys at your hobby shop...[:)]

I've had an aftershock for about 2 weeks and the differences are what 2D says, BUT the biggest difference is the PRICE...are you willing to pay around $700 for the LST2 or around $300 for the aftershock. if you have the cash go for the LST2 i think its worth it, but for me i wanted a new truck and didnt want to wait longer for the money to come in so i got the aftershock. and i like to upgrade,and eventually my aftershock will resemble an LST2. ALSO from what i have seen and heard, the LST2 is more geared towards the racing crowd, and the aftershock is more for the bashing crowd (eg: aftershock has bigger MT tires and LST2 has smaller track tires.) so ya good luck with choseing one. Ya like the above guy said...go with what your hobbyshop has...my first nitro was a duratrax nitro evader st...and they NEVER had parts for it and i alwas had to but parts on order. then when i wanted another car they almost begged me to get another brand that they carry..which is eveything but duratrax i bet...so anyway i got an aftershock and they finally respect me cuz i think it pissed em off having to put stuff on order...but now when i go to the shop they just grab the part i need cuz its a losi. I'd recimend the LST2. i would have bought one of those if i had the cash. good luck with chosing a MT. [8D]

I richened it and it runs cooler and will run thru a full a tank to nearly empty. its running great now...ALSO...this sucks, my pull/spin broke AGAIN! the spin bit we made was to big and it broke it like last time, so we need to buy a roto starter for it. otherwise eveything is great. i'm also in the process of making more vids...i would have today but my batterys died in both reciver and transmitter so tommorow i should have those uploaded. i can finally say HAPPY BASHING! [:D]

My aftershock only has 5 minute run times...it vaporlocks befor it can finish a tank...but if it did finish it would mabey last 3 minutes more...so how are you guys getting 15 minute run times?! am i still not tuned right? too rich? please tell me what your aftershocks are tuned to by what setting the high low and idle are set to? i'm guessing settings will be different everywhere cuz i live near the moutians at 5000+ ft. elevation. so anyone that high up have an aftershock they want to help me with? other than vaporlocking and only lasting 5 minutes it runs strong and is fast and shifts just fine...please help! [&:]

Ok update: i got a new pull/spin cuz the $6 spin backplate wouldn't fit. too big. sooo i had to fork out more money to get the $20 pull/spin...it works fine now. we finally figured out what was wrong with the nitro evader. the linkage on it was lose and messed up from the last time we adjusted those, and my dad had to tune the idle and the slipper too. so they are both finally running good. all i need to do is mabey tune my high speed and make my aftershock more rich so it will stop vaporlocking. yesterday i ran it and it just finished raining so it was cool, about 70. the aftershock ran longer but still didnt finish a full tank so i'm guessing its still just getting hot so i hope richening it will help with that. if i'm lucky ill get some vids of the aftershock or possibly both nitros running today. hope nothing else breaks, cuz i have NO moneys! the aftershock was running great it was fast and powerful, it was just a real hot day. i'd guess it was 90+ and the aftershocks engine is black so it was getting hot with the body off so i put the body on and it runs a couple minutes longer but just dies after 10 minutes. if this persists i'll have to make it more rich. i showed my dad how cheap the pull/spin is and how much cheaper it would be to just get a spin for only $4. so hes considering just getting a spin start. as for the nitro evader...you guys have any solutions? it takes forever to accelerate and is hard to tune..and moves on its own like the clutch is bad but the clutch is brand new...do i need a new piston for it already?[8|]

My grandpa bought me some fuel and a new clutch...i'm having some real bad luck with both my nitros now...my nitro evader suddenly started to act slow and move slow and it takes forever to accelerate and when it is a top speed its only 20mphish...now with my aftershock..it was running great but it kept vaporlocking and overheating cuz it was a fairly hot day so it would run for 10 minutes or less than just die...now the worst problem is my drill broke my aftershocks SPIN start! so BOTH spin and pull are broken so i am screwed...so BOTH my nitros need new parts...soooo i am really dissapointed in how crappy this hobby is being to me...i hope my dad helps me fix these problems soon..or i'm gonna be real bored during the summer...[&:]

yes its finally friday...i'm typing this in the computer class at school...i'm ahead of my work so i have free time in class just to play games and surf the net and listen to music...the best class ever i have 107% A for doing nothing for the past 3 weeks...anyway..lol.. my grandpa got here a couple days ago and we are having a party type thing at my uncles house with him and the whole family..i dont know if i'm invited i hope i am..anyway i'll ask my dad to ask him to buy me some fuel for aftershock and nitro evader st...so who thinks will win in a drag race the nitro evader st or the aftershock...i think this one is a no brainer...AFTERSHOCK all the way! plus I will be driving the aftershock... my dad wants me to give him the evader st but i said he has to by it from me...he drives way slow hes afriad to break it so he never just punches the throttle...so i win already. haha [:D]

any of the newer cars from duratrax...there old cars are crap...such as the nitro evader st...i own one...needs a new clutch shoe and spring every month. i'd say the hpi sts look good for beggining...i wish i got one of those as my first rc nitro...now i have a loai aftershock. kicks @$$! [:D]
