RE: Kit or RTF????
second vote here for a coaxial helicopter or a Blade MSR. I think the MSR comes with radio and everything for 200. Almost every hobby store has parts support for them too. im sure you are aware of the 20 dollars FMS sims too. To help you out.

RE: Red or Blue loctite which do you use?
Yes, helps a lot. Appreciate the feedback. I didn't know if some head bolts need red or not. I guess every kit is different. Anyone use blue or purple loctite on Flathead machine screws into plastic? Such as, into a frame. I didn't know if loctie was bad for the plastic or not.

Red or Blue loctite which do you use?
I have never built a kit before, In general, are there any areas Red high strength loctite is used on a Heli? it seems reading folks use Blue loctite. I wondered if red was so strong you would strip the small screw heads used in RC Heli kits. Im talking 500 and up size helis thanks in advance.

RE: Is Bigger Really Better?
You also need to figure out your income stream to pay for parts. If you are a beginner, you need to money for parts like crash kits and rotor blades. If money is tight, you will have to think over the size you choose carefully. Good luck.

Charging Big 12s Lipo’s fast at 30A or dual port 20A
I was wondering how to go about managing fast charging Two 6s 5000Mah 45C lipos. There are a few 30Amp chargers on the market now….and an upcoming TP charger that has two 20A charging ports. In a theoretical race, would one 30A charger using parallel charging on the two 6s lipos beat the upcoming TP charger with dual 20A ports? I was wondering if parallel charging two lipos reduces the 30A output to 15 Amps per Lipo?

RE: Good fixed pitch helicopter
Fixed pitch multiplex funcopter is good size made for outdoors. The blades fold up when you crash too. It's not out yet, but tower and Horizon hobby have them listed. Plenty of youtube videos too look at. Good Luck.

RE: new to Helli's, have a question.
I personally have enjoyed smack talk Rc videos. Just good and it will come up, they have a good heli setup video. You have to pay a few bucks to download them since the site does not have advertising.

RE: new to Helli's, have a question.
and buying a new maingear would be cheap way to help you trouble shoot also. Helis are super sensitive to any thing out of balance. Stuff you cant see with your eyes will show up in vibration at full throttle. Finding were is the difficult part. It's great to hear you are back in the hobby. There is a real nice guy at rcgroups forum called gadget01 who is stationed in Japan right now. He is a heli guy too. I bet you guys would have a lot to chat about. Take care.
