RE: Trying some new gearboxes
Congratulations, beutiful engineering and a great installation my only concern is lubrication, those gears must run hot under load.

RE: PZIV metal lower hull
Try to forget Tiger 1 metal hulls after all most of us would like one of them in the garage, instead I should be interested to know the sales figures for the Panzer 111 vis-a-vie the Panzer 1V, I would expect they are similar, so if there is a demand for MK 111 metal hulls then pretty clearly the market is there for MK 1Vs, so do I have to sell the children or can I expect reason and the market economy to prevail?

RE: National WWII Museum Visit
I love visiting Military museums although I am reminded of the human cost as I look around, I have this great interest in the Panzer 1V so when I first went to the Tank museum at Bovington in the county of Dorset, England I saw two of these wonders on display, then for the first time I saw its cousin medium tank, I could hardly believe how much bigger the MK 6 Panther is, if I did not know better I would have thought the Panther was an m b t, of course then I saw the Museums Tiger 1, WOW does not really tell the whole story, I think the point MARTELLUS made about knowledgeable staff is well made, It definately comes under the title of added value.

RE: Aisiatam Famo ?????? Anything?
I have no wish to scratch build a Tank Transporter trailer if there is an appropiate kit available, but it would compliment the Famo perfectly, any ideas?

RE: Asiatam Lower Hulls?
I have had a thing about MK 1Vs for more years than I care to think of, When I saw the ASIATAM MK 111 hull like a fool I assumed that as 1V followed 111 my wish would be soon fulfilled, I am going to have to do something about these rose tinted spectacles I keep tripping over my boot laces. Where do you go to show there is a demand for a 1/16 scale Panzer 1V metal hull?

RE: The origins of Heng Long tank designs
In truth I really do not care about the derivation of HL Tank design, what I remember is many years ago I saw the Tamiya 1/16 Tiger 1 and fell in love with it unfortunately it was always going to be a dream on a Truck Drivers income, I have given serious thought to kissing the feet of Mr Heng Long for producing a model close enough in silhouette to confuse all but the expert and with the wide range of upgrades available it not only becomes an individual model but tougher than the basic HL design and yet still affordable, Of course it will not be as durable as the Tamiya version but unlike that piece of plastic artistry when my HL model finally gives up the ghost I will be able to afford another one.
