RE: prop size revolution cat 36
Found a few vids of r2 hobbies boats. Seems many power my hull with twin srews. Some using dual 36/70 size motors with big narly 447 and such. Hope mine has enough sack. Though my setup seems near genesis power. Any input on these boats? Thanks again.

prop size revolution cat 36
After watching my buddy tear it up with his modded villian i had to make the plunge and get a boat too! I decided to get http://www.ebay.com/itm/36-RC-R-c-EP-Silver-Fox-Catamaran-Fiberglass-Epoxy-Racing-Boat-Ship-ARR-BK-O-/380641156857?pt=US_Radio_Control_Control_Line&hash=item589ffb1ef9. I have a medusa research 36/70/2300 (company bought by steve neu)(tons of power) and modded mamba max with seperate ubec to run 4s. I was thinking a x445,642?x442 sold out!. Anybody else have this boat? Driveline size? My motor has 5mm shaft? will it hook to flex shaft. Huge thanks. This is my 1st boat so any advise would be great. thanks. bbbrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Cannot log on from the home computers. My virus protection is telling me there is a I frame injector trying to infect. Anyways Got a chance to maiden the edge last night. On the second flight all but one of the hinges broke on 1 of the wings alerions. Really lucky to get the edge back on the ground unskaved. Just got back from lhs with 4 hs5645 servos, hinges and hinge tape. Video http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=M8Rd-dbP7RU All fixed will try to get some vid of edge hovering next. O ya all up with full tank gas 10.9 pounds on digital scale. Using two 5cell and a 4chance cell batterys. Will lose some weight when i get my life bats. Cheers Gonna try 19x6 zoar. Or should i go to 20x8?

RE: 35 or 55 DLE for 80 inch yak
I think a 35cc would work great. I have a cheezy china made 52cc spinning a 20x10 mez with lots of power for 3d on a 77inch 540. Good 30cc class motors spin 20x10 just fine. To compare my buddy has dle 55cc on a 78 inch extra. (way to much power) Prop has so much pull at idle that it seems to make it hard for him to land at times. 22x10 zoar. but whatever. biggers better.

Prop position on g62 video.
http://youtu.be/fWPwXKjeXpw Found this g62 in my dads basement. Prob been sitting 10/20 years. It had a bennet mount on the back. I took that off and fabbed up that aluminum mount. Went to local scap yard, they ended up just giving me a nice chunk of t6 aluminum. While doing research about motor I learned that the prop should be mounted like shown in video? Not sure if I have it in the correct spot? I set both needles at 2 turns. Gonna spin a 22x10 zoar. Couple buds should be over in a few to help me get it started. Wish us luck. 91 inch tbm zero. thanks

RE: TBM 93
Not 3d/ just hover! High 5 to the 100 plus flights. I am hoping to fly mine at warbird events and such for years to come. Cannot wait to chase my old mans TF P51. I did all mods found in thread. (tail wheel pull pull/dremeled so it locks, put hard wood around landing gear,6mm axles. I fly 3d/freestyle.(I will use low rates) I am always looking for max throw. I saw some info about stock g62 makiing around 28 pounds thrust with good props. I was hoping my zero would be around 26. seems the fuse is 6.8, center wing, 7.5,outer wings 2.8,motor 5.1+ fuel tank,2 bat, switch, misc. Any other tips? Huge thanks. Really digging these warbirds. The craftsmanship of some of the builds in this forum are unreal. Good job guys. This guys zero video is great http://youtu.be/l9fvZISYceQ , his cockpit http://youtu.be/AvLYyHqbiME thanks, cheers Seems those vids are of the zero in pictures above? Small world. I got the retracks drilled tapped to 6mm all mounted up! I have really crappy instructions from tbm? I am clueless on a few steps. 1st being how do I secure the stabs to fuse. I was thinking of gluing 1 end of carbon fiber rod into 1 stab. then how do I secure other stab????( long screw into bottom of stab up??? seems like a weak idea ) Please let me know or How is it done, other kits or what page. Thanks[:D] Waiting on g62 plate mount Really digging this plane. Prob gonna take the Tme smoke system out of edge and install it in zero.[8|]

Extreme flight chin yak os ax55 13x4 apc 10 gallons? never hit the earth. Noticed a diff noise. Felt little funny spinning over by hand. Ran fine though. Found that the top of the rod was seized to the wrist pin in the forward position.(Hard to get off crank pin) Soaked in tranny fluid to loosen. Disasembled all parts, cleaned ect. /////Works and sounds mint again. If I did not fix it, The wrist pin would have fore out piston. (Holes in piston that wrist pin rides) but whatever Just a FYI!
