Wanted Copterfilm CF 34, CF 30 Mount??
Guys, I am saving up money for a Copterfilm CF 34, but will consider CF 30 also. They are quite pricy, but I am sure it's worth the money. Just wonder if there's anyone with a used mount that want to sell, otherwise I will buy a new one. j

F-18--with 18" Wing span. How Much should it weight??
Guys, I bought an Het F- 18 coming in the Mail. Then yesterday I was in a toy store shopping for present and saw a model f-18 with a 18" wing spand and 24" fulesage. It is look like very much to scale, but weights about 600G. I have drilled alot of the palstic and plan to cover it with packaging tape. Now the F-18 air frame weights about 230G and I will try to get it under 200G. My question is what should my total target weight for my Mini F-18 for it to fly? I guess my duct fan and motor give about 400 to 500G of thrust For this Mini f-18. The total weight is now 430G. Het flys at 800 to 900G and 27.5"x35"

I love the F-18, but everyone seem to have very powerful setup for this plane. This is What I have---- thunder power 2100mah battery 15c 3550kv motor at 300W 35A Esc and thinking of getting a 480 mini fan. Since I have a much light setup than most people. You think this will work?

What is the some good duct fan unit at a affordable price and what kind of thrust will I be getting?

3D Plane that is near indestructable???
Guys Wonder if there's any 3 D plane that can last through some crashes. I just built the Ultra Mini stick and broke the body in half with one crash and it wasn't even nose down. I fly electri Heli and the heli frame lasted almost 15 crashes and it is still flying good. Is there such plane? I think I am staying away from wood frame. Soft Break FOr Motor
Hi, I fly both Foamy and Acrobatic planes. I always have the motor spin freely when I cut the throttle, but sometime I break the blades that way on hard landings. I found there's a soft break on the ESC. It will stop the motor about 1/2 second after I cut off the throttle, Should I use the soft break? My concern is, will the soft break shorten the life of the motor?

Eclipse 7--How to setup for Lef Aileron??
I have a Ultra Mini Stick with Hitec Eclipse 7. I am new to airplane, I use to fly Heli. I have all the servo working properly but just couldn't figure how to make the Left Alieron to move. THe manuel said CH6 is the left Alieron, which is where I plugged the servo into, but it not moving at all. I checked with another reciever and servo, both behave the same, so it must be a setting. It's in Arco, Flaperon is on, EPA is 100%. Tried 3 servo and 2 different reciever and connection is good. Left Aileron(CH6) is not responding. Can someone tell me how to setup the left aileron properly? What else I can tried?

RE: BEST STARTER AIRPLANE
I am in the exact situation. I fly the T-rex 450XL, SE. I really like flying foamies and check out 3Dfoamy.com for Super extra, or any of the pro foamy that they have. Flying characteristic is much more like a heli, very 3d capable and much less fixes once you get the handle of it. No belt, tail blade break on you like the Trex, got to like that. Practice a bit on the sim and you will find it fly very similar to the t-rex, get the landing down and you will have no trouble. props are like $3., not $13 like te heli. I still love flying my t-rex, don't get me wrong. Actually love it the best except for it breaking on me on mid air quite often.

Super Extra--What I need to get Flying??
Hi, I am completely new to RC Electric Airplane. I have some experience flying 2 channel kid planes. I have been flying T-Rex--Electric Helicopter. I have extra set of ESC, MOtor and battery. And I am wondering if I can put them on the SUPER EXTRA, Katana S, Pro CAP 232, Turbo Raven. Motor---Hacker A20 6XL 2500KV--85 grams, or Align 430L---3500KV--55grams ESC----Align 35 A aprox. 15 Grams battery--Thunder Power long pack 2100mah--140 gram I have HS-56 servos, how many do I need? What other thing that I need to get. How many crashes does it usually endure and is there parts available for repairs? Does the Kit include a ProP? If not, what size prop for my motor? Thanks for the help.

RE: Official Tamiya TT-01 Thread
Hey, GUys Sorry for all the hype. I did all my test yesterday evening and night time so the car seem to be 5 to 10 mph faster. This morning I ran it, my guess is probably around low 40 mph. But still blazing speed for a TT01. I will try a pair of foam tire.

RE: Official Tamiya TT-01 Thread
Yesterday night I charged the battery fully and take the battery plate and the spoiler off the car to make it a bit light, I think the car is running about 5 to 7 mph faster and I feel it's running just as fast as my Yokomo GT4. I am guessing 45 plus MPH and I am getting around 15 to 20 minutes of run time on a Ebay Powerized 3300mah battery. It's blazing fast, very happy with it. And I punch it all the time and no gear meshed so far. the tire I am running are the ones that come with the TT01D kit.

RE: Official Tamiya TT-01 Thread
Hey, Guys I got a 12turn Trinity Speed Gem Extreme and a Durtrax Streak ESC, $80 total. 22/58 gear and I believe I am getting speed around 45 mph. I have a Nitro Yokomo GT4 people say it goes 60mph and I think my TT01D is pretty close to it. To my surprise I am getting a ton more drifts comparing to the Sport tune motor. My question is since, I am getting so much drift, does that mean I can gear the motor higher to get more top speed?
