RE: Non-Futaba FASST receivers.
ORIGINAL: TimBle Right So I've flown the FrSky TFR8 about 5 times today. total duration of 1hour 10min approximately. The Rx seems to be work flawlessly. On the range test  it outperformed the R606FS receiver I had with me and seems to have a similar range as the R617FS. I also compared it too mu R6008HS Rx and the range seems comparable to tha tas well. On the Power down ''Range check'' mode of my T8FG I walked around 80m from the Rx with the Tx twiddling the sticks. No problems, twiddle sticks twiddle surfaces. I'll keep logginf up the hours on this one but it seems like a hell of a deal since I paid around $40 ea incl shipping and VAT. Thats a wjack load cheaper than the genuine Futaba R6008HS. I have to admit that for my bigger planes I will likely switch to S-bus technology but this FrSKY Rx is more than capable for my .50size and below airplanes.
Hi are you still flying you're Frksy? DId you know there is already a Frsky sbus receiver for fasst radios?

RE: Anybody converted futaba 8fg to use other diy module like frsky?
Nope do you're research man. They're technology of their own is not even the same to their futaba compatible or spektrum compatible receiver. Also futaba you know they don't offer telemetry built in to their receiver yet. Bro do you're research. People are blind and don't want to seek else where. People are getting rape because of the prices of the receiver of popular brand. Also yes Frsky makes orangerx. Beside it's a blessing for Frsky offering us low cost receiver which is telemetry receivers for only 25 bucks. 8 ch too and range is great. ACCST is different compare to their futaba or spektrum compatible receiver. Totally different technology. Frsky owns ACCST technology.

RE: Anybody converted futaba 8fg to use other diy module like frsky?
Ewwww. No thanks. I want to take advantage of ACCST technology. FrSKY ACCST technology is proven, approved by many model associations, tested and reviewed as the leading Chinese 2.4Ghz R/C Technology. If you think DSM2 or FASST is the best, think again! New FrSKY ACCST (Advanced Continuous Channel Shifting Technology) gives you secure radio communicatios in 2.4Ghz band. ACCST 2.4GHz system shifts 80 channels around hundred times per second in the 2.4GHz band. This means that the system is completely resistant to interference in that band. Features: Advanced Continuous Channel Shifting Technology (ACCST is our advanced tecnology it shifts channel hundred times per second and there is no signal conflicts and interruptions) robust frequency agility. Easy to bind and very fast link-up. Excellent reboot time. True Diversity with two antennas. All channels can be programmed with Failsafe, quickly and easily. Quick and extremely stable in performance. Precise and smooth servo response.

RE: FrSky 2.4Ghz for JR Tx
I think those are ads. Simply just ignore it or if something you like click on it and it will take you to the website like if you see a towerhobbies ad and you click on it, it will send you to it. Some ads trick you to get you infected. But I never had issue with rc forums taking me to a infected site. But if you click on it you will find more information about that ad and from there it should translate it automatically or you can manually do it. And you welcome. :)

RE: FrSky 2.4Ghz for JR Tx
Oh yea from that one website yes. If you know how to use computer. We're into rc so we have to read also that is not in english to get more educated. There is firefox with translation plugin that would convert it to english. And there is also google chrome that you can download he plugin. Anyways with these it would actually translate it automatically if you wanted to or you can do a right click on the website that to convert. But you need those plug in. But go and visit the frsky thread in rcgroup there is houndren of pages to read and get educated. Very good stuff to learn there. The other website that is not in english is just the software you can use to change the settings. A developer design it to use frsky module to program which is not hired from frsky just someone nice willing to do this for us.

Also some receiver you can update to latest firmware or rom and also set some settings by connecting with a usb connector to pc. You can do this also to the module. There is second party that create software for this if you don't want to use frsky software.
