RE: Walkera 22E Lets Talk
hi everybody. I got another problem with my Walkera 22E. After times of enjoying FMS, I heard some hissing sound inside the transmitter. after that, i test my trasmitter with my helicopter and now the heli is not working properly. Forward/Aft and Left/Right seems to be ok but while increasing the throttle only the tail motor works- no input to the main motor at all. Any suggestion on how to test my transmitter? I retest it again with the FMS and it is working properly. BTW I am using the SmartPropo plus interface. Also, I noticed a sudden drift of power from the transmitter. In less than 2 minutes after using new battery, from full bar to 2 bar on power meter of the transmitter. Any suggestion which part inside the transmitter was damage? or how can I check if the main motor and main motor circuit in my heli has no problem at all? -- thx
ORIGINAL: zacc can a 1500 ml amp li po batterie be charged with an ordenary charger? or does it need a special one ?
zacc, don't ever use your stock charger to charge the lipo, it is very dangerous. and also if you have the right litium charger, make sure to check the lipo battery every now and then say every 15min while charging to make sure its not getting hot. if it becoming hot, stop charging immediately, it maybe fully charge. do not also charge your battery more than 2 hours. i experienced it myself, after around 3 hours of charging without checking the condition of the battery, i fell to sleep and waked by an explosion of fire, almost burned my whole curtain covering my tv set cabinet and........ in short it is very, very dangerous so take not only some but a lot of precautions in handling/charging lipo batteries. if possible while charging, put it in a fireproof place and container....Be very careful.... ...here is the video showing what will happen to a lipo battery if overcharge http://www.helihobby.com/videos/LithiumBattery.wmv. i saw it after the accident happen...

RE: Walkera 22E Lets Talk
yah, i saw it too. sim cable from http://milehighwings.com/pic_cables.htm cost $25+shipment. Since I have available connector, ie. DB9 and DIN (from S-video cable), if someone can give me the pin assignment will be appreciated for me to save a little penny from purchasing it and a little time waiting for the shipment. I will just use the free FMS sim software, but i need the cable pin assignment. thx.

RE: Walkera 22E Lets Talk
Dennis, I have also RealFlight G3 but with no Interlink controller. I dont think if modified cable will work with it. It needs authentic Interlink controller that comes with the software. I can use FMS, but i need the cable pin assignment that connects the 22e xmitter and the computer. Appreciate your help. Thx....

RE: Walkera 22E Lets Talk
thanx alot ace..... Guys, any idea about the sim cable that works with 22e xmitter has the electronic parts on it? Is it ok if you can provide me the pin assignment of the cables on both ends. That would be another $25+++ saving for me i owe from you. I have lots of S-video cable and DB9 connectors to be used. Thanks guys....[8|][8|]

RE: Walkera 22E Lets Talk
ace, do u think its the 9.6v battery pack that cause the problem for the tail motor not to work? I am planning to buy 9.6v 1000mah ni-mh because my lipo was burned-out from over-charging (more than 2 hrs of charging), thank God that it didnt hurt my daughter who is sleeping 2 feet away from the battery. Anyway, still no luck in hovering eversince.[>:]

RE: Walkera 22E Lets Talk
thanks, ace, i figured out what you are referring to and ur right, i broke it while removing the flybar. i thought its just a part of that aluminum weight-like. put some tape to hold the flybar with the flybar-link. and hoping to would be ok...

RE: Walkera 22E Lets Talk
ORIGINAL: zaphire97 Hello folks, I'm a newbie with helicopters and I just bought Dragonfly 22E from Hobby4less. When it arrived I tried to start hovering about 4 inches and lift the throttle up and the heli goes backward and it's not balance or doesn't stay foot. Unfortunately I lowered the throttle and it outbalanced and peeled the blades a little bit and the blade holder was torn apart. I ordered the blade holder right away thru rcandme. Can you please help me how to tune it up and so that it will stay foot when lifting up the ground. Thank you and appreciate your input.
training gear may help to prevent accidental "outbalance-blade-hitting-the ground" thing.

RE: Walkera 22E Lets Talk
ORIGINAL: acebusa Jd...... If your 22E is not responding to directions You might check the black rectagular part on the fly bar. If you wreck it or anything it is possible that the little ears on the black piece that the flybars weights bolt on to break off and wont hold the flybar straight than it wont work your directionals.
what "little ears" do u mean? i have checked the rectangular part and it seems they're complete. do u have any idea what makes the difference in using that ball linkage set (upgrade-HM-22E-Z-38) and the standard flybar connector (HM-22E-Z-07)? when i tried to put throttle to about 1 ft from the ground (still using the standard connector) the bird keeps on flying backwards. and i cnt counteract using forward stick. thx for the help anyway...

RE: Walkera Dragonfly 22E Inturder 3D CCPM -- Does ANYONE have some input for this bird?
Not sure if this is the right thread regarding my 22E problem. But I am sure that lot of people dropped by here and hopefully can help me. Got my Dragonfly 22E, while trimming, taped the skid to the table and after applying around 50% trouttle while tracking the main blades the ball connector on the ball linkage set (upgrade-HM-22E-Z-38) broke down. Tried to fixed with superglue but still break after applying force. Tried also to use the standard flybar connector (HM-22E-Z-07) but the bird didn't respond to the control. I mean, swashplate is moving from side to side but when the bird is on the air, it's not controllable anymore only the throttle and yaw is working fine. Please help....[:(][:(][:(]
