Which Motor Setup do you use on your Blade CP or CP2?
Ok, Its time to see what configuration Blade CP or HoneyBee CP2 owners are using... It comes to my attention that many people are happy using the stock 10t motor and LIPOS with no 4-in-one problems..

RE: NEVER BUY BLADE CP!!!!!!!
So Live2die420 sent me his Blade CP, and It was an easy fix, it was acually missing a bearing in one of the blade Grips and causing all sorts of slop. I replaced the main shaft and added ball bearing back, and balanced the head & Blades and its flies like a dream. He should be getting it back today..

RE: Smoke from my TREX AGAIN!!!!!
Wow, you are having some bad luck with that bird! I cant believe that happened! Thats so wierd. Sounds like the polarity was messed up internally in the battery. The pos and neg where getting crossed, thats the only way a battery would catch on fire or smoke without being on a charger... i would try to get a refund on the battery!!

RE: Carbon fiber blades for the Eflite CP... Why?
Why does everyone say the Carbon Fiber blades are lighter? I just weighed my e-sky carbon fiber blades that I got off Helidirect and they weight 12.5 grams each. My stock Blades weigh 9.0 grams each!! I noticed in flying that they were slower to respond and sucked more battery faster. Maybe the $30.00 e-flite variety are lighter, but certainly not the E-sky blades. They are sitting collecting dust because they fly worse imo.

Good First Nitro Heli? Worth the Money?
I met someone at one of my flying fields he is selling his Kyosho Nexus 30 calibur Heli. OS 32sx Engine Futaba T6XH TX Futaba FP- R127DF receiver Futaba Fp148 Servos Futaba FPG 154 Gyro Comes with extra blades, parts etc.. He wants to sell it for $400 Ready to Fly. Should I jump on this or keep looking? I can fly my t-rex with no problems and do all the basic manuevrs, but i have been wanting to try out a nitro.. I really dont know anything about the Gas world. I have owned a Blade CP and a Trex 450XL... Thanks!!!

yep, sounds like you plugged it in the 4-in-one the wrong way, so now the tail is spinning the wrong way? Is that it?

RE: Honey Bee cp2 ppl?
You really can only buy them online, very few hobby stores even know what a Honeybee is. I buy from Helidirect & BalsaPr.com I Started with a Honeybee Cp2, sold it a week after i got it becuase it was too hard to fly i thought. Then I bought a blade CP, learned how to fly, hover, etc.. Then bought a Honeybee Cp2 again, then a T-rex 450XL. I love my honeybee now that i know how to fly. It is way more responsive than the Blade and imo, easier to fly than even my blade CP now that i can fly. Good luck with your new purchase, its well worth the money spent, just dont get frustrated like me and get rid of it, once you learn its like riding a bike. Peace

Yea, send it to me, i'll fix it for you. I bet its something minor thats getting overlooked. A few of my friends have messed up their blade CP beyond belief, they handed me a bag of parts and was like "fix it" took me a few hours but i had it flying dead on again.

RE: NEVER BUY BLADE CP!!!!!!!
Yea, i agree with alot of that, but I have owned several baldes and a few honeybees and it takes some time to get the thing dialed in right especially after a rebuild. First thing you need to do is put a peice of plastic fuel tubing over the rachet in the Transmitter. That allows smooth throttle control. I almost gave up on my Blade CP one day after about a month of hell trying to figure out how to even hover the thing. Then one day everything kinda came into place. Now I can re-build a blade in 25 minutes frame up and set everything perfect without a hitch.

RE: Hmm spectators...
LOL Yea went a city park yesterday with my Blade and I had seriously 15 kids watching me and asking questions "How high can in go?" "Can you land it on the roof?" "Can I try?" "Can it lift things?" Then adults would walk by and ask "So whats the range on that thing?" "Is it hard to fly that?" All in the course of trying to concentrate on not crashing!

RE: Please!! Help Diagnose My Trex Problem (Video)
The only thing I replaced was the little gear that the belt sits on, didnt think it was possible to reverse the belt. Now I just cant figure out how to twist the belt so it goes it the right direction without it binding up. Seems simple enough but let me tell you, Its not!

RE: Please!! Help Diagnose My Trex Problem (Video)
I havent been able to figure it out. I now know my tail is spinning the wrong way. I tried un-screwing the 4 screws that hold the tail boom to the chasis, then flipping the belt around so it rotates the other way, but everytime i twist the belt it locks up and it wont move. I bought this thing fully assembled and am now regretting it. I am thinking about just selling the whole thing all together and sticking with My Honeybee Cp2 for now. This thing is waay too complicated for me.

Please!! Help Diagnose My Trex Problem (Video)
I have had it with this problem. I cannot figure out why my t-rex is spinning everytime i spool her up? I bought this Trex 450XL complete package off a friend of mine who is in Iraq. I have an Eclipse 7 radio and the trex was flying great! One day I went to fly and all it did was spin around in circles. I never crashed or anything. I own a blade CP and since i didnt put the Rex together I dont know all the basic functions or how to fix issues that arent in plain sight. At first I thought i had the Gyro reversed, but i tried adjusting the gain and the reverse switch and it has very little effect on how fast it spins. It is using a Telebee head lock Gyro I made 2 videos of the problem and also with some close ups of my t-rex. Maybe someone can suggest something. I am almost ready to replace the Gyro, but i want to make sure other people agree that's my problem. I check the rear tail servo, and it seems to work when it initilizes on start up, its an HS56. Video #1 is here http://media.putfile.com/Trex-Spin-1 Video # 2 is here http://media.putfile.com/Trex-Spin-2 Thanks so much for anyone who can take a minute or two to help! -Jeff

RE: E-FLIGHT BLADE CP
Quick crash question..... I just face planted my CP into the ground My only problem is my motor pinion and gear arent lining up, there is now a gap between the motor and gear. When it spools up it makes all kinds of grinding noise... What do you think is bent, the acual motor or the main shaft? I know I'll probably have to replace both but i was hoping not to. thanks

RE: E-FLIGHT BLADE CP
Hey anyone have a pain in the A$$ problem with the tail rotor coming loose due to the silicone tubing? I dont want to put something to hold it on cuz I'll fear i'll end up breaking the whole tail off. Is there anything you can reccommend that will keep the tail rotor in place longer? Maybe some sort of colar? Thanks! One thing I just did which i reccommend 100% is do the Fuel tubing MOD with the stock TX! get rid of the rigid feel of the throttle! I just did it, and I can fly this thing much, much better! Its easier to keep it ot one spot! Before My blade would yo-yo like crazy, every click on the throttle was too much or too little input. Now I still have to move the throttle but i can do it oh so gradually! I'm sure if you search around you can find the FAQ on that Mod, but it takes literally 3 minutes to do! peace~

RE: E-FLIGHT BLADE CP
Hey where is the cheapest place to buy Blade Cp parts online... Heli-direct and Balsa PR are good, but they carry only Honeybee Cp2 parts, some will work, but not all Anyone have any discount sources? Anywhere that is cheaper than my local hobby store... Most online places that carry E-flite stuff are exactly the same price as my LHS! I dont want to pay $10.00 for a rotor head! $4.00 for pitch control links and for the love of god $4.00 for O rings.... jeez

RE: Plasti-Blade for BCP came in today WooHoo!!
My only complaint with the plastic blades is they are destoying my heli peice by peice.. They are heavier and are causing me more damage, they tend to boom strike on harder landings, once they hit your boom they will break your whole tail assembly off. IMO, it is easier to just replace one screw and throw a new set of blades on instead of tearing your whole heli apart to replace main shafts, tail assemblies, rotor heads, main frames..... I am a fan of these blades, dont get me wrong... but i would definetly not reccommend them to newbie's or begginers. Spend a few bucks on the woodies. Put clear packing tape on the ends and that will help against minor strikes. If you land hard alot or are very new to this hobby you will end up replacing parts you never thought you'd break. Many are cheaper than replacing the blades like stated before, but you will spend much more time fixing and ordering parts than you will flying...These Platic blades are almost indestructible, almost everything else on your heli will break before these will. Just my $.02
