RE: redcat racing
I can't say enough how bad Redcat really is. My son opened a Ground Ponder for X-mas and it has yet to work. Quality is poor, customer service is a joke, and they'll be more than happy to have the customer remove faulty electronics(radio, receiver, esc) ship it to them for review(at customer's expense)and wait for a response. Just don't hold your breath for a phone call or email!!
i do not know what site yall use for your order i use redcatracing.com , every redcat i get from them works great and never break , i did get a engine from them bout a year ago i did not break it in i just went right out on the truck i did end up messing it up and i just gave them a call they told me to send the engine back and i did and with no question ask they sent me a brand new engine , i been owning red cats for 2 years now and i keep getting more , i own a few other brand as well like traxxas ,team ae , and i just got a taimya terra cruster a few weeks ago thur a trade all of my cars trucks and buggys are nitro'

RE: s- maxx with 2.5 change to .15
rooker yes it is!!! anyway back to the linkage issue. rotate the carb so the throttle arm is to the inside of the truck and your lsn will be towards the outside of the truck.the connect the linkage to the carb you will have to bend it to get the linkage over the spur gear then connect it to the servo. you will have to play with it a little so the throttle and brake funcutions dont work against each other. I will post a pic in a few minutes Hide Signatures
thats what i was think thats y i made this post and for sum reson everyone over look the main point i was after but u every else wanted to question y i put this engine in when all they had do was read its all in the post , it state its a temp fix to get the truck going again untill i do a frame upgrade with bigger engine , i have pics of my fav r/c besides the one in the pic are the only ones i keep at my home. i just took these pics today and i did not make them that big they just came out that way , but i like when there big lol.

RE: s- maxx with 2.5 change to .15
There is a reason that traxxas does not sell the T-MAXX with the .15 any more. It was very underpowered for the truck and even more so for the new heavier versions.
i have a truck that not as heavy as the t maxx the s- maxx is the lighest truck i have it rips with the.15
Its going good, I pretty much finished the conversion yesterday (but I've been driving it for about a month- my servo needed replacing) and today I took the truck out and broke the rear diff and the right steering block but its really good. =) I havent updated my posts about the conversion because I cant upload the pics from my phone to the computer for some wierd reason- but I'll sort that out soon.
try send the pic from for phone to your email then upload them from ur email to the site
