RE: ESKY LAMA V3 (WHICH VENDOR)
ORIGINAL: civichb98 Does anybody know which is the BEST vendor to get the Esky Lama V3 with good service and great prices. I've gone threw several websites looking for Esky Lama V3 and I've seen good prices and some pretty crazy. The other thing is that every vendor shows different picture's of the Lama v3, some Lama in white and some with different Tx. I checked out RaidenTech.com and they have the lowest prices but how do you know how great they are. Plus they don't even have a section by letting them know what Tx and the mode you need. Give me your best opinion please Only vendors in the USA
well, if u want the lama v3, xheli.com has the best price $69.96 as advertised. i got one from them, no problem, flies good, needs minor adjustment before flying. they say all their helicopters are in USA standard mode-2. it is the same thing that hobby has as far based on other people's post

RE: CM pro GILES 202 50 ARTF
ORIGINAL: crazyjoe17 Got the giles 50 arf about 3 weeks ago.. gonna fly it this friday comming up .. i have a 70 asp in it and it seems like tons of power... the plane in person might be one of the most beautiful arf's ever made but as stated above the covering tears very easily.. i made about three decent tears in building it, but if you just clear monokote over it you can barley see them.. Hardware is very good and all pieces fit perfectly.. hopefully she flies as good as she looks..
how does this plane fly? is it easy to build? how's the instruction and everything? i'm eyeing this plane as my new project, the quality looks good, but why is it $89 so cheap? any catch?

JOE'S HOBBY OUTLET TREASURE ISLAND, FLORIDA
bananahobby is TERRIBLE that i only want to eat apples and oranges nowadays. if you havent heard, i bought like $400 of helicopter and parts from them around spring of this year and boy did i get screwed by them. what they sent me was a pile of junks that did not work from head to toe. i called and called and called and never got anyone to help me. all they did was avoid the issue while i had days of sleepless nights to get my issue resolved. finally i decided to force the returns so i sent them back all the junks expecting them to see it and refund to my credit card. but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. No refund and i was out $400 + around $20 certified postage to send it back. what makes it more painful was that i worked the whole summer to make $1000 and yet, i blew almsot half to these jerks. my friend recommended me to raidentech and this guy norman and paul are very helpful. their phones are always busy though but at least if u keep trying, someone will eventually pick up your call and take care of you. so far i havent had any problem with them but now i only place order over the phone with norman because he is truely helpful (although i think many of the things he says dont make much sense but funny) jerry boy

RE: Bobcat 25
ORIGINAL: Meekskin Ok guys, My good buddy Phil and I purchase the bobcat 25 from nitro planes and have flown them 4 times now. What a really nice flying plane and very fast with the os32 engine. The building of the bobcat is good for the most part, but there are a few design flaws. The nose landing gear is too short and doesn't extend high enough to connect the wheel coller...My buddy designed a fix for this and it really works great. Also, the bulkhead for the nose wheel is week and will break on not too soft a landing. The main gear is also weak and will bend back on hard landings. If you are building one of these great little planes you will be very pleased with the quality of the fuse and covering. Be sure to set up duel rates because on landing the little plane is very sensetive and cannot be slowed too much or it will drop out of the sky. My flying buddy and I are so please, that we bought the 50 size, which is on sale now. We will be putting 52 size engine in these with retracts. I know there are some posts on here that complain about the after sale service, but I must say that NITRO PLANES has treated me very good. I will probably buy the 120 size and I'm sure the flying will be just as good if not better than the 25 size. Let me know if any of you have built and flown this great little model from Nitro Planes.
nice, do you have aerial photos of thsi little monster, maybe videos would be nice too ya ya

RE: BananaHobby
ORIGINAL: LOWDOWNDIRTYRAT1 Ya know, I am not usually one to complain. I am a patient person, and I understand the workings of a business. But I have never seen such poor customer service from a customer oriented sales business. After purchasing a new RTF plane, the motor failed at first test... 7 e-mails later I received a response to return all the electronics involved (motor, speed controller, receiver....) at my expense. It took another 3 e-mails and two unanswered calls before I finally got their shipping address. well That was back in Dec 06, I'm still waiting for my components, and my calls and e-mails go unanswered. Be forewarned. I'm shopping elsewhere.[:'(]
HELP!!!!!! same here. i bought a helicopter plus other parts from this messed up company and all i got was garbage and they would not return phone calls nor emails. i need their address so i can track down these theives! if anyone can help, please jerryboy
ORIGINAL: LOWDOWNDIRTYRAT1 Yep, I have purchased from BananaHobby, the motor failed at first test, they had me return the defective parts via mail ..and I have yet to get anything back. Good luck getting them to respond to calls or e-mails.. Personally, I'd look elsewhere. Their customer service is the worst I have ever encountered.
Hi sir I bought a 3d aerobatic helicopter plus parts from bananahobby for well over $400 and they sent me a pile of junks that do not work. they will not pick up their phone calls and ignore all my emails. i kno they are somewhere near los angeles so I can drive to their store. can you give me their physical address so i can drive up there to return this pile of garbage. help! i'm out $400 someone please post their address here thanks
