norvel engine found
i have a question about the norvel company, are they still gone from the face of the earth or are they back and exporting engines. my LHS has a norvel .061 big mig R/C plane in stock that i plan on buying but i havent seen or heard of anything saying sig was importing engines again so did they just stumble upon this engine or are norvels available again.

i was thinking about building an electric version of this plane also and was wondering if a speed 380 motor and a 25 amp speed controler would power it.

AP Wasp .061 wont start
i have a brand new ap wasp that i bought for my LST trainer. i am using the right prop, the right fuel, the right fuel tank, and a kwik klip glow starter. i have tried about 60 times to start it. it doesnt flood, it doesnt smoke, and it certainly doesnt start. i am at the end of my rope here. i am new to nitro and have almost no idea what i am doing. could someone please help by possibly identifing the problem. i spin it with a starter and nothing happens. i even bought a 1-1/4 spinner so i could use a bigger starter. what is wrong.

real flight vs. ikarus vs. others
i am looking into bying an rc flight simulator and was wondering which one to buy. i am completely new to sims. i know i will probably get 7 different answers to this question because each person will like or dislike certain things. physics are the most important to me. do the planes perform how they should or is it completely different than flying in real life. also i dont want something that looks completely unrealistic.

sounds great but i dont think you should put a cox on the plane. i have only had bad experiences with them. also i think you should add strip ailerons. if the people dont want to use them than thats fine

RE: Postal Plane Project
thats a great idea. i would definitely fly it for the midwest region. (Iowa) however i think that it would be a good idea to keep the plane easy to fly. a shrike sounds kind of hot. otherwise theirs a good chance this plane wont make it very far.

the reason i want wood is because i have heard and seen how nylon propellers bend/wobble at high rpms and wood props dont do that

new plane
ia m looking for a suitable kit for a second plane. i like kits so much better than arfs or rtf so anyhelp would be nice. i dont want it to be any bigger than .60. also, i would like it to be somewhat easy to build, i can build so-so. nothing that requires mor than moderate building skills.
