RE: FEJ 1/7 F-15 vs FB 1/7 F-15
ORIGINAL: dubd I thought Mr Patton was using a Rhino LPSS turbine pushing around 44#s of thrust? That is quite a bit better than a 36# turbine.
My F-15 has the LPSS Rhino. Thrust is 40 pounds. Flys the 15 really well. Soon will have the new Jet Central Mammoth at 45 pounds. That should make for some very good verticals with this airframe. Dry weight of my F-15 is 42 pounds.
ORIGINAL: RCISFUN Yesterday myself and a couple of my jet buddies (Daleroger and Flyaway) decided to get some last flight in for the season at Titusville Airport. Maj. Woody (Dom) called and said he wanted to visit with his new Cessna 150, after Dom left we had a visit from the STAT Medivac Helicopter out of Pittsburgh PA. The Pilot of the heli let me get into the pilot seat, I offered to let him fly my Jet if I could fly the chopper[:D] He just smiled a lot [:D][:D][:D]
Looking good Major! RE: Regulate an A123 ECU Battery?
Jet Central strongly discourages the use of a 9.9 volt on the ECU. The resulting damage to the ECU could be very expensive for you. I use a 6.6 (2C) on the big F-15. I needed the nose weight, so a 4600ma was chosen. I get plenty of reliable starts, even with the new ceramic glow plug. Haven't tried the smaller 2300ma, but will give it a try very soon. Should work fine.
