RE: Picco .26 RedDot JL Glow plug discussion
Like i said i don't want to get into it. The guy was giving bad info and it's simple as that. I had a technical conversation going with the experienced member who works on these engines for a living and were discussing specifics and this guy who does not even own a basic set of caliper chimes in with his worthless opinion and bring up the old thread. Moving on.

I disagree, he was providing bad information and I was simply correcting him. Anyway i don't want to get into here and I already talked to the mod and settled it over there. cheers

RE: Picco .26 RedDot JL Glow plug discussion
That thread was closed down and got way off on a tangent. There is one very insecure member there who really has nothing better to do than post nonsense. The mod and I cleared things u and everything is good.

Picco .26 RedDot JL Glow plug discussion
I have been reading different threads and everyone has a different opinion. I'm waiting for the motor to arrive and i need to order some plugs. I have purchased a .1mm shim b/c i plan on using 30% Byrons with 11% oil to break in and use so im torn on what plug to get. Information overload. 1. Does this motor need Longer plugs or will the standard length work? Some have said to stay away from the long plugs as it might cause damage like the LC3 from OS if it hits the piston. 2. Based on some reading and various articles it's pretty clear the more nitro content the colder you want to go. Dave from OFNA recommended their Medium 51011........B5 standard medium. But tuners have told me to use the cold plugs. On some threads I see people recommending the McCoy 59 which is hot for break-in but it is a long length plug which worries me. What do you guys think?

T-maxx Front and Rear Center CVD Steel
I ordered the HPI and Revo parts for the rear center steel driveshaft conversion and I would also like to update the front center to stell as well. I have a 4908 model. Any help or suggestions is appreciated. I was told to stay way from Integy and MIP so What other options do i have to also make it steel? Thanks

Cen CT5 Help, will not idle but it starts
Hi, My brother has a brand new Cen CT5 that he has never used it has been sitting on the shelf and now his kids want to play with it. I have no experience with RC and since my brother is serving in Afghanistan he is gone for an indefinite amount of time. I want to get this RC car running for his kids to i took it to a local hobby shop. I purchased 20% Byron Race fuel Gen2 and got a Hobbico Hot Shot 2 as recommended by the guys in the store. I asked them if they could start it up for me since i didn't know what was required so the sales guy was gracious enough to spend a while to start it up and he told me since it is new it needs to be broken in. But the problem was every time he started it up i had to hold the throttle 1/4 open so it would get air and as soon as i closed the throttle it would die even though the idle and all the adjustments were in the right setting. I'm baffled and he who has 20 years of experience told me to come back tomorrow so he can think about it. This car means a lot to these kids and I don't want to let them down. I'm heading back over there again around 11am. If you can please give me some pointers so i can give him that would be great. Thanks
