I found out what I was doing wrong. When I ordered the part from Tower Hobbies I thought that this part was to replace the servo saver, it does not, I still need the servo saver, so once I found out about that, I was good to go. I have a Ofna failsafe in all 3 of my vehicles, would not run them without the failsafes. I have seen to many runaways from cars and trucks that did not have failsafes.

Get the Super Chasis HPI part# 73914, that made a differance in Handling, also the motor saver air filter,racing clutch and the fiber disk break.

I know HPI is about to release a hoped up version of the MT2, it is coming with the .18 SS engine, I do not know if they are going to do anything to the Savage. I do hope they do plan on making a supped up and hoped up Savage[:)], In not the not to distant future.

HPI is coming out with a MT2 SS, it has the 18SS engine and a lot of hop ups, it is a kit so you would have to get a radio.

It sounds like you'r one way bearing is going bad, you will have to replace it, they are not to expensive, about 13$. I do not know if HPI has a waranty on it. It is easy to change out.
