help programing ecs !
OK, so i finaly got my ecs connected to my receiver, it turns out u needed this on/off switch just for the receiver. soo i am trying to program it its a teu-101bk it came with my tt01d and i have the receiver that came with my mx-3. when i folow the directions to program it it says to push the set button once and the leds flashes it does that, then it says hold down the throttle and press the set button and it shouls start flashing two times in a row.... it does that. but then it says press reverse down and press set and the led should shut off and it should work, but when i do it the led just keeps flashing..... idk what to do, what am i doing wrong? man i wana use this thing so bad

i did cut off the tab, but the red on wouldnt fit, so i tried sanding it down and everything but it only gets in half way and doesnt work

HELP!!!!
ok, so i got a tt01d with a mx-3 controler. i built it and everything but i cant get the electronics to work, for some reson i dont think the ecs is captable with the recevier. here are the wires http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d49/rydinturbo/Picture424.jpg the blue one is from the servo and the other ones are from the ecs. here is the receiver http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d49/rydinturbo/rhrhrh.jpg i cant get it to work, the light keep blinking on the ecs to, and when i plug in the motor it starts beeping. i am kinda disopented cuz this is my first 1/10 scale r/c car and it wont even work lol.

any tips?
well i ordered my rc car yesterday. i want to know if u got any articals or anything that will make building my rc easier and understand what i am doing easier. i am most worried about painting it. it seems weird that you paint the inside, do u put the deacils on the outside? also i dont get how u do the custom paints and crap too if u paint the inside. what happens if you ghet paint on the outside when your spray painting it? and i dont get how people get those lights that look reall, like they dont look like a sticker. also what matance do i have to do after running it? how long to tires last? aand what kind of things do u have to do to the motor, i read the ones with brushes have alot of maintance or something. thanks
