battery- bubbled
i was charging up my lipo batteries for my belt cp..........i accidently left the charge rate on 2.2 amps after charging a 2200mah battery. I nearly finished charging a 1800mah on 2.2 by accident and looks as if the silver outside underneath the green covering on the esky battery has bubbled. is this still safe to use?

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........
creteus usually i only fly in hh mode. But in rate mode it holds and it also does in hh mode although sometimes it spinds ever so slow to the right and sometimes to the left also. I am trying to install a jr digital servo- DS 381, Is there any different way to install a digital servo?

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........
hmmmm...... ok that does make sense. I am only using the stock esky servo for the tail but i have a digital servo lying around here somewhere, might put that on and set it up again.

RE: ........."BELT-CP THREAD"........
i have recently got a dx6i for the belt cp. Now my heli works awesome although i have one quik question. I have the teleebe hh gyro set up properly but it creeps a lil bit in hh. Now to fix this i need to change the sub trim a lil. Do i change the sub trim on the rudder or the gyro when in the sub trim menu of the dx6i?

RE: Belt-CP a toy?
i have only flowen a 4 ch fp heli to learn to hover then i went ahead and bought a belt cp. over time i have slowly upgraded it. The best thing to do is get a dx6i of dx7 if u can and then u have a good heli i think. At a local heli club i went to a 't rex guy' had a go at a belt cp and thought that it could even be more stable in a hover, u just cant throw it around as much. The way i look at it, get a heli that suites u. The belt cp suited me fine as i learnt forward flight and even backflips, now i can put the money i saved on buying the belt cp towards a nitro heli!!!!!!!!

RE: belt cp motor mount
yes the frame is hitting the outer run of the motor unless i undo the screws a fair bit. I spose it is alright undoing the screws but not sure if this is safe? Does any1 elses frame come close or can everyone do the screws right up as tight as they go?

Help dx6i
ok my dx6i arrived today for my belt cp. Been setting it up but cannot go any further. I asked fro a mode 1 (throttle right) which is what i got sent. After setting everything up, the tx thinks the trottle is on the left rather than the right, and the forward movement is on the right rather than the left. How do i change this, swap it around?

belt cp motor mount
on my belt cp when the motor mount screws are done up as tight as they go the plastic hits the motor. they need to be very loose so the motor spin freely without the plastic hitting it. One of the screws are stripped down so i was going to buy new screws then came across a metal motor mount upgrade. will these help the problem of the plastic hitting the motor? is it worth it or should i just buy a new plastic one?
