RE: Step by Step Pro-Pex Runway
We just put a second width of this stuff on our runway(www.leafrc.com). We are trying to figure out how to deal with the seam. How do you aplly the asphalt emulsion. Is it the stuff in tubes of do you get the stuff in a bucket and trowell it down? Thanks.

RE: Herr Minisport-EP Question
I started building mine two nights ago. It builds quick! Anyway, I have a little screamer to put in it. It's been a super motor in my slofly wing. Can't wait to fly.

RE: Building kit from plans; Stupid questions 101
I have a question along these lines. Feels like a stupid question and I guess you could figure it out by measuring the plans. Any way: When cutting out parts do you cut to the line or cut the line off or something else? Is there a standard? I have flown a lot of foam and plastic and an ARF or two, but I have always collected plans that I liked. I recently built my first balsa laser cut kit and I was surprised to find that it was almost as much fun as actually flying. Anyway, one day I will build from plans. Thanks.

RE: Pilatus PC-9, VMAR or Seagull?
Hmmm . . well, I am getting a Seagull PC-9 together. I just bought the saito FA82 for it. Sounds like this is much more engine than anybody else is using. It is a tight fit, but I can make it work. No idea how it will balance 'cause I haven't started assembly yet. I am flying in Colorado (5800 ft.), but still it seems like a lot of extra engine. Any comments?

RE: Sky Scooter Pro II
Sky Scooter was my first plane too. I would recommend getting the Pro version though. The third channel makes the radio gear much more reusable. I have had mine in two other planes, and that's just with the two channel. Flew it today, still flies good even with all the glue.
