Yeah the FG had some cash in it, but I sold it last year. The 5T is now my project and its getting on the same level as the FG was. :)

RE: Nutech 1/5 4WD TVP truck XT5 is releasing
ORIGINAL: mooman007uk
ORIGINAL: DarkFire989 I'd like to see less alloy personally. That much scares me for weight / bending.
claimed weight is 14.5kg which is 32lb..... I was always not a big fan of all alloy but if the grade is good then it holds up to abuse. all the high end race cars are all alloy elcon, contrast, concept, ferox, fg, laut, harm, toxyc etc so not only is it deemed strong enough the added weight is what keeps these cars planted to the track.... a good pipe will get this truck moving along...the long skinny header is what robs power. people have been wanting a 1/5th savage for years... now it's here...and so what if hpi don't make it,(probably a good thing) i was never an hpi fanboy anyhow, ...tell the truth my savage was not much better than my t-maxx, the losi LST was the best nitro MT i ever owned
Totally wiht you on the alloy, all the people who have never had an alloy car always say it will bend. But I have ownend several full aloys myself and trust me they are billions times stronger than there inferior plastic counterparts.

No the baja is the rovan clone guys! I know the guy running the FG, he has put losi lst shocks on it for a single shock conversion. Almost the whole MT is furthermore done in alloy.

RE: Shortened Baja
I think shortend and a 30.5 is a little overkill with wheely's in mind. When the gearchange comes the car will likely flip over at a zillion mph wich will completely destroy the car.

RE: what do you guys think
ORIGINAL: Freezetron 1. RPM arms = stronger, more durable and cheaper 2. Darksoul extended hubs will work/look better
Wow dude the rpm's are never stronger than the FLM's. Have you ever ran those things, they look awesome and there hasn't been 1 person that has ever broke or bent an FLM ex. arm. At least nobody I have ever heard or read about on 4 forums in 4 years. There are some people who have broken RPM's tho but than again, there much cheaper. So it's your choice actually.

RE: I'm still scared of jumping my Baja
The trick with the 5T is to have full throttle when the front off car is allready in the air en to now approach the jump to fast. When you truck moves trough the ait to fast the back end will sag in. You have to accelerate while going up the ramp.

RE: ELCON Cleon, a dutch design...
Hormann already has 4X4 and the cool about it is that it is hydraulic drive. So there are turbine rotors in the front wheel hubs where the oil runs through. It was on last years neurenberg toyfair I think.

RE: Rovan Sports Baja 29cc report
Its a fair price... But when you buy a HPI Baja 5b here in Sweden you have to pay 1200-1300$ or more.
Exactly! Thats why a lot of people buy clones I think. An hpi ss costs $1500 over here and in the rest of europe. That frikkin twice the amound of the US price. And really man, that sucks!

Can I trust frankexport889@163.com from China Newstyle Vehicles Manufacturing Corp.
Just like the title says. Does anyone have any experience with either? I Am looking to buy 6 ORIGINAL(he does offer clones but I go for the real stuff) Hpi baja 5t's from him directly out of china. So I can distribute them here in the Netherlands.(This is however all going to family so no actual sales on the market just in privat) So if anyone knows something either good or bad please let me know. Greetings Joey.
