i race and bash some. i fing my flux capisitor always going out lol. best to buy what you are going to use a rc for. one is no better than the other. all have their good points and bad. its like deciding between a ford and a chevy one will buy their personal preferance.

RE: Noob speaking advice
collectors point 1 is correct. point 2 trsxxas is good there is other brands out there look at your local hobby shop and see what brands they support. point 3 is a good one point 4 is very true ppoint 5 i would disagree with the aluminum parts, they seem to break other parts.

RE: ofna ultra lx2 question
i race a lx 1 im new to racing and have learned a lot from it. to make a long story short- i was at the track practicing one day and another racer was there with his losi 8 2.0. he has won the sportsman race several times. he was beating me every lap. i made the statement i need to get a better bugy. we traded for 3 laps then he beat me with my own buggy. so having the best of the best doesent mean the fastest. driving skill will be the deciding factor. ive seen it to many times at the track.

RE: Servos
if your battery pack is ok and it is the servo buy a good quality servo the first time. buy once. cheaper in the long run i bought a cheap servo for 25.00 it lasted 2 months. i bought a hitec its lasted 2 and a half years now.

RE: Glow plug
if you caint get the same odonel plug try the mcoy mc59. i used it in the same motor for a long time. i run byrons gen 2 25% and the mc59 plug does great. ive raced for 3 years now and only used 2 plugs. i shut my motor off by the fly wheel . covering the exhaust is what kills most glow plugs. do you have a lx 1 or a lx2?

RE: AMA, What are you Thinking?
well i dont want to have to join the ama just so i can race at the local race track.at the fkying fields aroud here if you are not a member of the ama then you cant fly at that field. so i dont want the ama to take over just to boost their membership. and make it more expensive for me to race. we have r.o.a.r and i.b etc. enough governing our tracks. if i ever take up flying i will join the ama. i plan on trying flying in the future.

first check the bearings in the bell. make sure it free spins. might need to shim it. check the springs on the clutch shoes.
