RE: CT Racing......Now Open.....
looks like you need a engine mount too, when you get the truck look it over and see what else is missing i may have some parts for it. if it dosent have a good steering servo i have the hitec 565mg i think in mine and turns the tires just fine on the ground.

RE: CT Racing......Now Open.....
so everything in the first picture came with the truck so you will need a pipe , radio, engine , i think you may need a clutchbell i am currently using the 15 tooth on the xtm 28. it looks like he is using the x tranny case that will make changing spures alot easier. i have the engine, radio, and a couple of diff gears if those are shot, sorry dont have a pipe fot the beastwhat else do you need for it besides those 2 things.

i just got mine today too i am gona try them on the xtm28 st1 WITH THE PULL START [:D] lol .i put one on to see what it looked like and i am in shock on how wide it got. i have the +1 from losi but these are much wider . i actually got them by accident and didnt want anything that wide but after i tryed them i like alot. i posted before it would be too wide with the +2 from losi but these must be at least 1/2 offset and on 1/2 offset tires man i can run 40 series tires now [:D] . i am not trying anything though till next month because i dont want to break anything.

yes you can race with a 28 and a 28 is the biggest engine that can be race legal , but at your track its basically what the owners rules are. keith i have no idea what happened the nut is cut at the groove where the spring goes in and the nut was solid on the shaft , chauk it up to one of lifes mysteries.

actually not really but i will deal with it, at this point i am shelving it the whole st1 and playing with the one with thePULL START yea i said it if anyone ever aska for a starter box i will tell them their evil, hmmm [sm=71_71.gif] maybe i will put that under my quotes at the bottom of the page. anyway this starter box thing got me all shook up i cant even think straight ok so the pull start is out so the stock motor will go back in for nowmaybe put the m26 in the savage i have a pull start that may fit it. yea just not my week, the knot on the savage pull start let go , the st1 ate my clutch nut and starter box, the genesis broke a a-arm flying over a 5 ft fence and 20 ft out not bad for the beginning of the week [:D]. man , i think this things a woman, its defenitly got attitude

RE: Thunder tiger ST-1
arrrrrggg [:D] idn the starter box .... its ..i really dont know where to start i hate it so much. 1. the starter box at 12v works for 5 starts thats it the 18 lasts for 15 starts and the 2 8.4 for 10 starts. 2. the box posts are plastic where the power leads are and they melt when you try to start it for more than 30 seconds 3. the $#@!%$$#%%@%$ switch cant take the volts and took a crap[:D] 4. the f%$##@@!@#@$%^!@#$% mach 26 ate my clutch nut YES ate it post pics later the clutch shoes i have on the m26 are the losi lst2 shoes and springs and the springs acted like a laith and cut through my clutch nut and destroyed the springs. in the prosses of removing the clutch nut i put a scratch in the piston which is no big deal but none the less another thing i need to fix (which i have already with some steel wool ) after i asses the total damage i will post back all i know is the STARTER BOXES ARE EVIL and this would of never happened with a pull start... oh one more thing!@#$%%$#@!@#$#@!!!@#$@!@#%$#$%$ ok feeling better[:D]

ericem dont even bother , no one is willing to give a weight of the others so obviously the st1 is the lightest truggy out there. also the blue truggy box is the best on a 12v gell cell batt [;)] .whatever, its good enough for anyone back in 2006 and guess what the xray [:)] is the same lenth as the st1, hmmmm makes me wonder why that is [;)]. anyway get what you like it always comes down to that. here are the specs of the cen .... alot lighter yea with no tires and engine and electronics , [8|] Radio tray: Lightweight composite Steering: Bell crank type with servo saver INCLUDES: TR Arena Factory Race Edition Stadium Truck with fuel tank, molded white rear wing, fuel tubing, diff fluid, shock oil, decals, set- up sheet, DVD, air filter, fuel filter and instruction manual REQUIRES: Radio System: 2-channel with high-torque steering servo Engine: .21 -.28 cu in (3.4 - 4.6 cc) pull start Exhaust: Tuned pipe, CEGG1030 recommended Wheels: 1/8 scale truck style with 23mm hex Tires: 1/8 scale truggy racing type with foam inserts AA Batteries: 12 for radio system Glow Starter: 1.2 volt Misc. Items: Fuel bottle, building and track equipment Fuel: 2-cycle glow fuel with 10%-20% nitromethane, 16% lubricant- Most of the fuels we carry meet or exceed the lubricant content required for optimum performance and maximum engine life. In the past, the conventional lubricant content used in fuel was 18%. But with new advanced technologies, fuels like Red Alert and O'Donnell for example, have a better quality of lubricants even though the percentages of lubricant content are lower. These high-tech lubricants provide exceptional cooling and protection. RE: xray or thunder tiger?
i am no great driver by any means either, i perfer durability than speed anyday thats the reason for the upgrades. and supertib i dont know which st1 you held but if it was the rtr with the stock tt28 its heavy. i removes the engine on mine and replaced it with the mach 26 and let me tell you i must of lost at least 1/2 lb ,that motor is heavy weing in at over 1 lb, but like i said i perfer durability, hence i upgraded the braces and added 1/4 lb to the truck but in the right places [;)] . speed is good but if you dont finish the race its not gonna help you [:D]

RE: Thunder tiger ST-1
ORIGINAL: ItchyBum I finally broke something on my PRO kit [:@] Well i didnt actually break it but the front left CVD lost the little pin that holds it together and the actual CVD shaft fell out, so on the last lap of qualifying it was driving in circles lol BUT! - HOLD THE PRESS!! I qualified second for the A Main, setting the fastest lap of the day [:D][:D][:D] but because the guy in first set more consistent fast lap times they put him in first....mungrel lol but after about 7 laps i noticed my speed decreasing and on the next lap i stopped for some reason and when i tried to take off again it didnt move but i could hear it revving still. A marshal brought it back in for me and i came down and pulled the cover off the reveal that my Nosram had stripped my new 15t clutch bell [:'(] so it put me out for the rest of the race which was the second last race of the day so i just packed up and went home lol I definately have the fastest truggy there, probably even the fastest rc car there all together, but i think that Nosram just has too much power. There are a few bumps at the start of the main straight and when it hits them it will wheelstand for almost half the straight, even with 10K in the centre diff. It just absolutely screams. And the rest of the track im only using about 5-20% throttle so its a bit of a waste i think. But im getting over 10mins run time at least which is pretty good.
lol there is no such thing as too much power [:)] , man i guess it was bad luck weekend , i must of broke every truck i brought out sunday. the savage the pull start string the knot broke , the st1 the starter box batt died because of the cold, and the genesis le broke a upper a-arm after flying 20 ft over a 5 foot fence [:D] thank goodness there wasent any one on the other side lol, the most fun i ever had. i say run it like the last pic because thats how i have mine after straightening the tires then pointing them in to see if that was better or making both wheels straight in the end i ended up puting the wheels like the last pic because it gave the most amount of steering and still goes straight.

RE: xray or thunder tiger?
i was breaking in my new bump start motor today in the st1 and it was half way through its first tank when it went full throttle into a 4 inch curb, i dont know what happened and this was the first time i didnt have the trs on i never put it on . it hit hard at about 30 mph head on , it flipped up and stalled on top of the grass, i thought i was going there to pick up pieces and to my ammazement it had zero damage just a scrape and some ashfault stuck into the plastic bumper,i dare you to do that to a muggen or an xray i just wish i had a camera with me, when i saw that my heart just dropped and really was expecting the worst . now its not stock by any means i have re-enforcing steel bracing front and rear and a steel square stock 1/4 inch thick front to back and to my amazement it did its job.
