RE: offer
Full price offer's usually don't factor in shipping.. I get several 'full price' offers but they want it shipped for that price. Sorry, not going to ship a 1/4 scale or bigger for the listed price.. I've rejected quite a few for this. The price is for pickup.

RE: Seiko Servo MUST HAVE
I can see a lot of uses for the electronic switch!!! You could use it for your smoke system battery.. It would be a simple way to run 1 switch on your system using a servo city servo panel. 1 switched battery on the receiver and then use 2 of these through the servo city panel to power the servos etc..

RE: Jet Central Problems ... warantee???
ORIGINAL: invertmast snip.. I find it interesting that this comment from myself still hasn't been answered by The OP.... kinda seems she has just fallen from the face of RCU... ''What strikes me as strange is.... how come even after you received it and it was ''locked up'' you kept trying to free it up? I mean, the thing doesn' spin out of the box when it should. And according to your other post, your a smart lady. So if you Knew it wasn't right (especially after the starter wouldn't spin it), why not just call them back on the phone and ask what was up? ''
Alright.. I'll try to answer some of it. First, She only has access to the internet through her iphone (pita to check the threads etc..) She'd not 'subscribed' so Usually she'll come back on when I tell her that she should check it and maybe respond. Some of the confusion comes from not knowing the order of events. When she first got the bee (going by memory here) she installed it in the shoky but it had a bad ecu. After that was replaced the bee ran great for many good flights. Then, the shoky lost it's wing on a flight (known problem with them). The engine was sent in and repaired then but after that never was back running like it should. I believe this is when it wouldn't turn over etc (of course I told her to contact Eric and send it back etc!!) I believe she did call, not sure of course of what was said in the conversation. I don't know exactly how 'locked' up it was. Whether it was stiff or completely locked (which I doubt). Right after this I believe is when she was getting 'hot starts' which I believe weren't that at all. I know she did call on the hot starts and was told that it would be alright (I told her I didn't think so, better find out what's going on). Anyway, just wanted to try and clarify a couple of things..

RE: Jet Central Problems ... warantee???
[:D] Thanks! I know that Katt is the original owner as I talked her into going the Jet Central route.. Just trying to figure out if there will be any warranty on the turbine once it's back for me??? The $250 is quite a hit as you mentioned about buying one of the used turbines...

RE: Jet Central Problems ... warantee???
ORIGINAL: lov2flyrc Not going to bother even responding to Katt's post.... EVERYONE of my customers knows how I operate and simply put, you have STOLEN two valves from Dreamworks. Are you going to deny you have not received them? Have I been paid for even one? Nuff said. In my world, that is called theft.
Actually, I've never seen the valves.. One of the boxes came down here to the marina. I remember when it came as she had me watching for it (it had to be signed for through the marina post office). I remember her saying that all that was in the box was some pilot figure stuff, she was expecting the valves.. If she got it, she didn't put it on the jet.. Maybe something actually did get mixed up? I know that if I pick up the bee that I'm going to have to buy another hand held unit as like she said, she doesn't have one for it. It got lost when it was sent to Eric..

RE: Jet Central Problems ... warantee???
Hey, I have a question about the warranty. If I purchase this turbine after the repair. Is the turbine covered by any warranty at all unless I spend another $250 to get the life warranty? Say I buy it and 6 months from now something fails that isn't operator error (fod etc). Would it/shouldn't it be covered under the general warranty, especially since after this repair there should be 0 time and it's an almost brand new? Basically a brand new turbine. If not then it would seem that the lifetime warranty was nothing more than a regular warranty, right? If most things will be judged as operator error then it may be a waste of the $250? As I mentioned before, CS was great on my super eagle! Still hoping to hear from Eric!!! [:D]

RE: Jet Central Problems ... warantee???
I'm thinking about purchasing the bee. I dropped Eric a pm when he was on here earlier just to make sure that it would be back to 100% and that hopefully no aggravation will be directed toward the turbine (hate to buy one that had a hammer taken to it or something, lol) [;)] Haven't heard back yet [:)] As mentioned before, I've had great cs from jc before and hopefully that will remain the same!!!

RE: Jet Central Problems ... warantee???
ORIGINAL: Jetpilot24 Ok I have read this post and I think everyone including Katt is missing the big picture. Katt herself says that the wing on her TBM Shockjet folded causing the plane to go in. I might be missing something here but isn't that considered CRASH DAMAGE. She states this in her original post and again in a post a few above this one. I do not own a JetCentral turbine but everyone I have talked to has had nothing but praises for JetCentral and Eric. Just an observation Joe
I believe that the turbine was sent in after that and repaired already... This is after it has came back from that repair..

LOL God bless everyone including Eric. Another day another lesson.
[:D] I used to own one! If I had the $ I probably would have converted all of my turbines to Jet Centrals... As mentioned before. This 1 turbine with misc problems has not been the norm that I've seen with any turbine.
ORIGINAL: bevar Jon, Look at the leading edge of the blade at 3:00 in the picture. Does it look peeled back or is that just the camera angle? If it is...how do you think that happened? Beave
Just curious. Why are you directing that at me? I'm surprised that for fod damage it wasn't much worse... Is that what you were referring to? [:)] If you go on the thread where about minor compressor chips, this looks VERY minor compared to what some of the guys were posting and that they were still running.. Added.. The 9:00 blade looks like it has a little peeling

RE: Eric Clapp & Jet Central Service
I know Katt as well. When she was thinking about getting into turbines I told her that she couldn't beat Jet Central as they were great! I've met Eric and also owned a super eagle. It was a great turbine. Had some damage to it not long after I purchased it, talked to Eric and sent it back. They replaced it, if I remember right with another new turbine as there wasn't any time on it. That was before the new warranty's were offered. First rate service! Katt has called me off and on about different problems. She would ask about the hot starts etc and I'd tell her that it wasn't right, that she needed to get ahold of Eric and talk to him about it. She told me that she talked to him and he said that it shouldn't be a problem.. I wonder if Eric didn't quite understand what was going on.. So it's my fault that she's always calling him [;)] There has seemed to be a lot of issues with this particular turbine. When she was down at our field I remember looking at the install etc, and it seemed fine. The FOD screen and all seemed to be adequate. I know that she's frustrated. She has a turbine that she has tried to install correctly, protect with a screen etc, and has had multiple different problems.. Motor not turning over, bad brand new ecu, warped exhaust, hot starts, etc etc.. Also, Eric is looking at the compressor and trying to figure what could have caused the nick etc. I do think that if there hadn't been a screen and something had gone in that it would have left a MUCH larger area of damage.. I'm sure that everything will work out and hopefully everyone will be back to having fun and flying shortly!!!! Jon
