Giles 202
I am looking for a Giles 202 electric ARF cowl, (this is a small airplane, not the 40 size) lawn darted it yesterday, but only destroyed the plastic cowl. Google has not helped. Anyone have one they want to part with? PM me with price, I will send payment immediately if the price is reasonable. john

Put a 25 or a 32 on it. I taught my kids to fly with a PT20 with a 32, you can always pull the throttle back. Good flying airplane John

RE: Flying Cat... May be Graphic for the cat lover...
OMG, that is even beyond typical British humor. And I sit here looking at my cat. It would be totally out of the realm of reality for my cat to move that much.

RE: Sig Wonder Flew Today !!!!!!
I built my first Wonder in 2004 in Egypt. Flew the heck out of it, but did have a real bad tail heavy problem on the first flight. They are very balance sensitive. Had a buddy over there that had a Shrike and we would chase each other all over the sky. He had the speed, but I could turn inside him. Great fun. I just got my stuff out of storage a couple of days ago and there was that old green Wonder, just begging to be flown again. Think it will have to be recovered and I might try rudder on it this time. RE: Tower Kaos 60
take a look at the cover of the box, if it is a yellow and brown Kaos with the nose cowl sanded down to match the spinner, it is a super kaos, if it has flat fuselage sides, then it is the standard Kaos. I owned the airplane on the box cover when it was sold in "Scratch and Dent" about 15 years ago. Wonderful airplane to look at, but since it was built for photos, it weighed about 9 pounds and flew like a brick. The kit can be built considerably lighter and flys like a dream John

RE: Parkflyers Hughes 300
This might be stupid, but is it a 2..4 GHz system and if so were the transmitter and receiver bound together? Just a thought

You can also google "RC Hobby Battery" and it will give you several companies that sell hobby batteries Try Batteries America or nobatteries.com. I have bought from both of them in the past and have been very happy with the stuff they sell. John

RE: 2.4 Orbit
I have a box of old Heath Kit 5 and 8 channel radios, both single and dual stick. When I return to the USA, I too will be doing a conversion to 2.4 using the Hitec Module and HItec receivers. The thought of those wonderful "old sticks" flying a Kwik Fli III is just to much to withstand. John

RE: Royal B-17
I would love to see pics fo the A26. I worked on the real airplane in Thailand back in the 60s and have often considered building one. I even had a chance to get a flight in one for a maintenance check, what a rush when he fired the 8 50 cals in nose. John

RE: Engine For Kwik FLi Mk. III
My first Kwik Fll III was a Graupner kit I built in Germany back in 1969 or 70. Powered it with a Gold Head OS 60. One of the best flying planes I owned for many years. I later had a Kwik Fli 4 with the tapered wing with a Webra Black Head. Both were very great airplanes and both had plenty of power.

RE: Flying in Abu Dhabi
I just got to Abu Dhabi in May, and it looks like I am going to have a lot of time on my hands (modeling time at least). Anyone out there than can fill me in on regulations and requirements to fly here. AMA?? Freq's, can you use the Spread Spectrum radios here. I didn't bring anything with me, so there is a big order going to Tower in the near future, but want to make sure the radio is legal. I only fly prop planes, no jets or helis. Any help will be appreciated. John
