RE: Trainer Kit waste of money
that usually starts to happen when one of your motors is wearing out. its not spinning as fast as the other one to balance out the rotational force.

RE: My Raptor 50, A Giant Tree and The Monkey Man
i think this has the makings of a classic made for tv movie.[:D] i have done the same with airplanes but the last time involved a bow and arrow , tow water ski ropes , and a truck hitch to pull the ropes and the branch along with said stuck plane back to the ground.

RE: First RC unit..still alive or DOA?
my first plane is still alive and kicking after several fuselage rebuilds. the second one thought , that i actually learned to fly on disentegrated upon its last impact and i had to vacuum it up. i havent pushed the heli's hard enought to hurt them or my pride yet.

should have plenty of browsing time. expected rain through sunday which pretty much kills any chance of playtime. oh well , the garage looks like crap so i guess its cleaning time.

RE: THE LOUNGE 3...
obviously a noob question but whats the difference between a buggy and a truggy? just the body or is there more mechanically behind the scenes. just trying to narrow my search of where to compulsively sink more money into rcing.[:D]

i fly a little of everything. i have a couple of .45 sized ww2 planes , a .60 yak54 , couple raptors. i would love a big gasser but my next move after securing something with 4 wheels will prob be a small electric jet

not really sure. havent had any since the old school plastic tyco monsters of the late eightys but probably a nitro buggy or truck. .18 motor...something along those lines. just for bashing around with. no real race aspirations

RE: THE LOUNGE 3...
for what its worth guys, its been a horribly slow work week and to pass the time i started reading this thread and have finally made it to the current posts. i usually fly planes and helis but all this friendly banter has made me want a buggy just to have something to talk about. congrats on the long life of this.

RE: Futaba Transmitter
check your modulation on the transmitter to make sure you didnt change it ie. pcm to ppm. i accidentally bumped mine while reprogramming a couple weeks ago and had the same effect.

vk models fokker dr1
got this kit at a yard sale a few months back. all the parts look to be there but of course there are no plans. i always wanted a triplane and thought this would be a good way to give it a shot does anyone have any idea where to track down a set. i cant find much about the company except they are out of business and the kit is old. it is a .60 size if that makes a difference. thanks
