Compare the return if you decide to sell each airframe. Consider this in the cost.

RE: JR Radio future business plan (?)
DO you know JR manufactures nothing. I have been in the hobby for fourty years. I have friends who have worked for a JAPAN manufacturer for 30 years. Like I said I DO NOT KNOW FOR A FACT. One fact is there will be some big changes to come and they will mostly be behind the scenes.

RE: JR Radio future business plan (?)
Basically Spektrum is the cookie monster and has gobbled up a huge part of the lowend/highprofit radios. Believe it or not thousands of 2ch/3ch radios are sols to every four channel much less high end sets. Futaba has hung on because radios are a minute part of their business. I do not know but it would not surprise me if Spek monster gobbled up JR in the future. They would not want the modelers to know because we are conditioned to the premium brand and pricing of JR. What would happen is Spek would start rebranding their equipment as "JR" also maintaining a huge profit margin. I have no proof but I think it has already begun. My $0.02 worth.

RE: VIRGINIA JETS - NEW EVENT JUNE 9-10
ORIGINAL: Jetpilot24 Just got in from Virgina Jets and have to say I had a great time. Put 12 flights on my own jets plus 5 more on Franks Jets. Also thanks to the gentleman flying the electric F-86 sabre for the flight on that one. A great location and wonderful hospitality. I will definitely be there next year. Joe Lewis Kingtech K-80 and K-140 Owner
The F86 guy with the ESABRE was my brother Harold Little. He had a great time and we will be back next year.

RE: BVM Help
ORIGINAL: YellowAircraft Thanks, David Have any of you built this AFS model with inner doors? If so, how did you choose to stiffen them? I'm definitely not going to build it with just the cutouts, so the question is whether to laminate some carbon or do the glassed balsa liners a la BV's F-16. TIA
We have several AFS sabres and used the cutout glass and followed the manual exactly. No problems at all. Don,t over engineer it.

RE: Florida jets 2012.. Are we there yet?
ORIGINAL: FTiano chique to leave your fire extinguisher in the tent?
If they can haul 30 gallons of jetA around why NOT REQUIRE all turbine flyers to provide a 5 gallon bucket of water. The fancy sprayers were not very effective. If the show is going to be all anout turbines it should also be about safety. Three or four guys with 5 gallons buckets would have had the situation handled. Organizers have transpotation, let the pilots handle the bucket brigade.

RE: Florida jets 2012.. Are we there yet?
I have attended most of the FLJETS meets from Goldenrod/Bunell to Paradise. The quality of preparation and organization was unmatched. The hard work showed. Facilities were amazing and extremely well thought out and prepared. If some influence with the weather/winds could be found it would have been perfect.[;)] Most of these keyboard cowboys don't have a clue. THANK YOU!!! Frank Tiano for facilitating our hobby. PS I am fat. The fish you catch depends on the bait you use.

RE: Possible New Products. Need your input. (pic heavy)
ORIGINAL: Dr Honda Thanks for in the input guys. After I get home from my shop today... I may post them on my website: RCISFUN: I remember you saying something about that before. But, as far as I can tell, his patent expired in July this year. (so only about 3 months ago) I'm not a lawyer, but unless there was a change to the laws that I don't know about, I don't think BVM has a claim anymore.
License for Patent #5,601,159 Be advised that the BVM "O" Ring Brake Patent # 5,601,159 is effective until 15 July 2014. Licenses to legally utilize this patent are available from Bob Violett. Note: A change in patent laws (circa 1995) states that the duration of a U.S. Patent shall be: 20 years from date of filing, or 17 years from date of issue, whichever is the longest period of time.

RE: Spring Air Retracts
This is the price you pay for products made over seas. When an item goes out of stock it can take months for the factory to retool and make the parts and then comes the looong boat ride.
