RE: Best .15 Engine - NTC3
honestly, the gears are meshed perfectly with the .15 I put a lrp.18 and a 18tz in my other NTC3 and the spurs got stripped right away. I'm just tired of stripping spur gears.

RE: Whats the fastest 1/10 scale car ?
Fastest 1/10 out the box is the Cen Racing CTR 5.0 as it will achieve 90mph. Second is the Fusion 28 Turbo which will attain 80+mph, followed by the 4tec @ 70mph. I have a regular fusion 28 and that fastest I have clocked it on a radar gun was 70 and I ran out of space

RE: Hight Speed Xray NT1
I'm not aiming for 90s or anything. Just something north of 70. I was thinking of dropping a rb modified 12tz motor in there with a nice pipe. would that do the trick or should I create this beast off of a factory team NTC3 better?

Hight Speed Xray NT1
Looking to build a high speed Xray NT1 on road car. Something that can run with the Fusion and the Cen Racing CTR 5.0. What motor should I drop in there? I was thinking of dropping a modifed 12TZ motor. Would that be enough? Any suggestions on motors?

RE: Tc3 with a O.s 18cvr engine question
Well, its faster then the stock motor. With the high speed gearing on the stock motor with two speed, I max out at 53mph. I went up against a single speed NTC3 with the OS18CV-R and it was faster.

RE: Best upgrades for manace .21
I believe the menace uses 14mm, but i'm not positive. Venom tires are horrible. Get a strong throttle servo, because the braking in the menace is horrible.

RE: How fast?
My stock NTC3 with stock gearing did 47mph. When I opted for the higher gearing, it rose to 53mph. This is the 2spd BTW. I also had a version 1 single speed with an OS18 CVR and it was faster, so it was probably low to mid 50s.

RE: 4 tec traction
The 4tec is a drag car, just like the Fusion. My fusion 28 handles horribly in corners, but goes like a bat out of hell in the straights. I have only gotten it up to 70, but thats because it runs out of room and the braking on smooth asphalt sucks with the stock foams. My TC3 is much better in corners, but not as fast on the straightaways. With the stock AE.15 motor and the faster gearing, I have topped out at about 53mph. Those are all radar confirmed.

How to stop wheelies???
Is a wheelie bar the only way? Is there anything I can do with the shocks springs or oil? I have a RC10GT2 with an OS18TZ motor in it that is not even tuned yet (temp is 115) and I have clocked it at 46mph so far and if i do full throttle even down the road it will wheelie.

Clutch Bell Does not move freely - RC10GT2
I have a OS18TZ motor installed on my RC10GT2 and when the screws is screwed in, the clutch bell won't move. If I loosen it and try to run, then the screw will eventually unscrew itself within a couple of runs and fly off. I've tried shims, but its still happening. Any suggestions?

Jato shocks fit RC10GT2?
My RC10 shocsk leak pretty badly and i'm looking for a replacement. Would jato fit? Any other suggestions? I'm looking for shocks that will fit with no modification and that will lower the ride height as this will only be run on pavement.
